My friend and I finished up a two week trip of visiting 4 locations with a stay at Tha Lane Bag Villas. We could not have found a better location for peace, relaxation and absolute bliss! The biggest surprise was the staff....each and every one of them, and most especially Miss Sandi went above and beyond for us! From the driver Danny who picked us up at the airport to the ladies that greeted us with giggles when they saw ALL of our luggage to the boat captain that Miss Sandi arranged to take us on an outing that surpassed our wildest expectations....every moment at Tha Lane Bay was pure joy and perfection. On our boat ride we stopped at a floating fish market where we picked out lobsters and crabs that we took back to the resort and the staff cooked up for us. Each morning they made sure we had breakfast at our convenience and always cared for us and about us. The location is perfect!! Accessible to Krabi but secluded enough that we feel peace and solitude. 

Absolute Paradise!! 

Very nice villa for relaxing with private swimming pool. The staff is very friendly. They arranged the shuttle from/to airport. They arranged amazing tours. Highly recommended to stay in this resort with these friendly staff.

Tha lane bay villas in Krabi, Thailand

So let me begin with the fact that I knew we would not be near anything while we were here and that was perfectly o.k. because we thought we would have everything we needed while we were here. We were mistaken, the first night we arrived we realized our safe didn't work, they tried to fix it and it wasn't fixed, the TV did not work the entire time we were there, day 2 the internet was out for the majority of the day and the "buffet" breakfast was anything but that. You had to walk up these step stairs to the breakfast hall where there was one plate of fruit, a toaster with a bag of break, coffee with coffee grinds in it and a small mix of cereal, you could order off the menu but I got sick the first day from that so I opted out of that going forward. The toilets could accept toilet paper, which again for the price we paid that isn't acceptable as we were looking for Westernized amenities. The villa was the Chuba Rose - don't just don't do it if you are not staying in the same bed downstairs as the stairs upstairs to the "loft" space are absolute death traps and I feared for my sister's safety every single time she went up or down those stairs. The shower leaked and I mean full flow of water leaked so at 1AM I would be woken up by the leaky shower. This is NOT a two bedroom suite because the elderly or less than sprite could not get up those stairs. The staff cannot speak English, even passable English and on the last day for check out, they tried to check us out early as they had guests coming that day...too bad, check out is noon. They seemed annoyed by that fact. The savings grace for this hotel is the view, the view is to die for, anf the handyman is a really sweet man (I know cause he was at our villa every day trying to fix our broken stuff).

NOT worth the price you pay

Amazing 4-night-stay!! Private villa, private pool, meals are served on the private patio. Beautiful sunsets... Great staff, everyone is so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a calm and quiet place you should come. Parking is available and I would recommend a car to visit the beaches and other Highlights nearby. If I come back to Krabi, I know where I'll stay:-)

Lovely villa, great place to stay

We were due to stay here in April however we are unable to travel due to the Coronavirus crisis. We contacted the host to advise and they were great; refunding the monies I’d paid almost immediately. This is fantastic service given that other places have not been so forthcoming. I look forward to staying here in the future

From our “Delights “restaurant above the reception with Thai and Western cuisine offers also in-villa dining services. Thai cooking demonstration for guests can be arranged.
