I would like to make mention of our excellent Tour Manager, Max. The trip was absolutely seamless, with several upgrades along the way, and we managed to miss a lot of the crowds. Our every need was anticipated throughout. Max was especially helpful in making sure there were plenty of meat-free meals for me, which was much appreciated. He made a wonderful experience even more special. All the hotels on this tour were very good, with the Tibet Hotel being exceptional. The pandas in Chengdu were wonderful, and I really enjoyed the river cruise through the Three Gorges.
