From December to February the weather is slightly cooler and great for sightseeing in central and southern regions like Mexico City, Oaxaca, and Yucatán, without being too hot. It's also peak tourist season during Christmas and New Year holidays.

From May to September the weather can be hot and humid, particularly on the coasts, with rains in the afternoon. However, it’s a great time to visit if you want to avoid large crowds and don't mind occasional showers. Also, this is the time for lush green landscapes and lower travel costs.

From October to November is a wonderful time time to visit for cultural festivals, especially for the Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), celebrated from October 31 to November 2.

The official language of Mexico is Spanish and is spoken by the vast majority of the population.
