Ideally located on the east coast, nestled in the beautiful Trou d'Eau Douce bay, the hotel faces the paradisiacal Ile aux Cerfs, offering free boat shuttles from the hotel jetty, and is also close to the Blue Bay Marine Reserve, well positioned to offer a range of interesting marine expeditions. Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is situated approximately 49 km from the residence.
Cosy, warm and convivial are the attributes that best describe this hotel, a place where guests, many of them regulars, feel at home, among friends, and would not contemplate going anywhere else. Its relatively small size, with only 58 rooms available, makes for a very special friendly, family-like atmosphere. Fully air-conditioned, it offers a 24-hour reception, a bar, restaurant, Internet access (for a fee) and room service.
The hotel's main rooms are decorated in local style and comfortably arranged with large beds. Each room has a balcony or terrace, looking out directly over the beach and the lagoon. There are also 2 larger family rooms, set back slightly for added privacy but still close to the beach. Their terraces overlook the garden and its lush, tropical plants. The en suite bathrooms in all accommodation are fitted with a shower and hairdryer. In-room amenities include a double bed, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access, a safe, minibar and individually regulated air conditioning.
A local band entertains guests during the evening and once a week there is a special Sega show, when visitors can discover the music and rhythms traditional to Mauritius in a flamboyant whirl of sound and colour. The hotel offers guests use of an outdoor swimming pool, sun terrace with sun loungers laid out for use and various sport facilities such as windsurfing, canoeing, pedal boating, darts, volleyball, bocce, golf and biking. Entertainment programmes are available for adults.

The hotel well located in one of the best area in the Island. The room, the service and food is great!
Great experience
We had a great experience at Tropical Attitude. The service was excellent — staff were polite, courteous and always helpful. Special thanks to Karen who was very good and so helpful with everything, and to Farhan in housekeeping who did a fantastic job and was very attentive. Overall it was a wonderful stay with beautiful surroundings and great hospitality. Would definitely recommend.

A Peaceful & Memorable Stay at Tropical Attitude, Mauritius 🌴🌊
We stayed at Tropical Attitude for 2 days, and honestly, it was such a lovely experience. The resort is very easy to find and has a calm, cozy and peaceful vibe. It is definitely Instagram-worthy and, overall, felt like great value for money.
The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained and very well equipped. We had a lovely dressing area, coffee facilities, and a little bench just outside the room with a beautiful sea view. Sitting there and enjoying the calm surroundings was one of our favourite parts. The resort was relatively quiet and not noisy at all, making it perfect for a relaxing stay.
The property itself was extremely clean and well maintained. There is a beautiful pool, spa, gym and 3 restaurants within the resort. You also have beach access, road access and boat access, and activities can conveniently be booked directly from the resort. The buffet dinner was really good, and there was a singer performing during dinner, which made the evenings even more enjoyable. Tea was also available throughout the day.
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and always smiling. A special mention to Selven and Chef Roy, who went above and beyond for us. Since we are vegetarian, they made sure we had enough food options and were properly taken care of throughout our stay.
We also had an early morning flight, and Selven and Chef Roy were kind enough to prepare breakfast for us at 6 AM — juice, fruits, salad, bread, jam and everything we needed before leaving. Such thoughtful hospitality really made an impression on us. ❤️
One of the hotel managers was also constantly checking on guests and making sure everyone was comfortable. It was lovely to see such genuine attention to guest experience.
Overall, Tropical Attitude is a beautiful, peaceful and cozy resort with wonderful hospitality, great food and excellent facilities. The combination of the sea views, spacious rooms, calm atmosphere and incredibly warm staff made our stay truly memorable.
Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a peaceful and value-for-money stay in Mauritius! 🌴✨

Amazing staff average hotel
We booked this hotel after having our previous hotel cancelled due to the war in the UAE 🥲 on arrival at 5.30am after a long flight from the uk we were greeted with a nice warm flannel to freshen up & then offered breakfast in the restaurant which was very nice although our room wasn’t ready we had the chance to change in the departure lounge if we wanted we had booked a deluxe room but unfortunately there wasn’t anything deluxe about it you get a lounge area but the views are better from the second floor rooms & you have a really spacious balcony in these our room felt damp & the fixtures & fittings including the hairdryer were all rusty not what we expected from an expensive holiday which was for my husband’s 60th birthday 🥲 all rooms have an ocean view apart from the villas & in my eyes the room wasn’t worth the upgrade fee but would definitely recommend the villas they are beautiful we actually got upgraded to a villa as a gesture of goodwill due to the fact that they don’t celebrate birthdays only anniversary celebrations which I found a complete letdown most people choose a long haul destination for a special occasion & save hard for it to be special but unfortunately this day wasn’t I think that any celebration whether it be a birthday or anniversary should be celebrated & treated in the same way. But on a positive side the staff make this hotel Christophe will always hold a special place in my heart he was such a nice man & I’ve still got my bird of paradise & fish you made me out of bamboo leaves 💕the egg lady remesh was amazing & not forgetting vikash the head chef always asking if everything was ok 👍 also Iishad Nundloll for making our last few days very special in the villa we left Mauritius very relaxed & happy but sad to leave 🥲would we return to this hotel it’s a no there is nothing around the hotel & we like to go out & about trying different bars & restaurants but only 1 restaurant called green island you can go to any attitude hotel as long as you arrange with customer relations you can spend the day there which is a nice touch & you can go on the glass bottom boat for free & go across to the island also for free & take a packed lunch with you
