Well, what can I say, we are regular visitors at this hotel visiting twice a year and again the hotel hasn't let us down this year from the minute we arrived 2 hour flight delay till the minute we left. Every time we visit we enjoy our holidays more and more , all the staff in every area are unbelievable and make our holiday so special, we can not fault them, they all work so hard and are so polite and nothing is to much trouble for them and we mean nothing is to much trouble for them they are all amazing ♥️♥️. We had a swim up room this time which was amazing , we did have a problem that occurred to the room with the room through no fault of the resort which was sorted out with great urgency and professionalism thank you reception team , maintenance team and Azid for the amazing response which never impacted our holiday at all due to the priority actions of all the staff involved 👍 A special big shout out and a massive thank you to Kelly as I was celebrating my birthday whilst at the hotel, and my family had organised a surprise through Kelly, which was absolutely amazing and so heartwarming ♥️ So a very big thank you Kelly and the team at the Mexican al la cart Raz and all the team for making my birthday a very special night 🎂. There have been negative reviews about the food but there are no problems at all with the food the selections are plentiful and there are theme nights the only problem with the food is the guests that leave the food warmers open and don't use the utensils supplied. Some guests I feel are very wasteful, having multiple plates of food on the table, which majority of it isn't eaten, so gets thrown away. There are chefs constantly walking around checking all the food and replenishing where needed and like all the staff the restaurant and kitchen staff are constantly working hard and are always polite and welcoming ♥️ and in all the years we have visited the hotel we have never had any issues regarding the food or anything else to be honest. The hotel is amazing, the grounds are clean , beautiful and are very well maintained constantly same as the all the pools and the beach. Myself and my wife would like to say a massive thank you to each and everyone of you and all your teams in your departments for all your hard work and professionalism and for making all our holidays at the hotel very very special as always. Going to miss the after pool drinks and nuts it's a tradition of ours 🙈 We have already booked twice next year to return and we can not wait as we miss you all already 🇹🇷. We would like to wish each and everyone of you good health and a well deserved break in the closed season after working so so hard . Take care all of you see you next year 🇹🇷♥️👍
Been staying with family for two weeks end September in Room 1013. Rooms size is ok. Clean enough but here is the end of positive. Food ? Hmmm… Seafood doesn’t exist in this hotel. Shame!!!. No bananas !!! . Rough chicken kebab in snack bar . Adana kebab being BBQ from frozen meat in main restaurant. Worst experience ever had in Turkey. 🇹🇷 and this is 5 star hotel!!! After staying first week, second week came ever worst. Got Diarrhea for all second week!!!! Evening shows very bad!!! So holiday is being Disaster !!! Will never come back !!!

We had an awful experience at this hotel. My son became very ill and ended up in hospital. He was diagnosed with hepatitis A, which clearly states, you catch this from unclean food or water. The hotel has tried to inform me that my son must have been ill before we arrived, however this is not the case. It is a common illness in turkey due to poor hygiene and not England. The hotel has also blocked me from writing any negative comment on facebook groups. The entertainment is very poor and not tailored to older children. I definitely would not recommend this hotel
It's a tricky review as it's a really nice hotel and we actually had a really good time, I probably would have given it a 4 star review as it was good but didn't blow us away but had to knock it down to 3 due to some of the below...
Transfer: Jet2 provided coach, we was the first stop and i'd say took around 45 minutes from the airport.
Check-in: Got there, greeted quickly and was checked-in in no time, the bellboys were really helpful and the receptionist gave us really good info to start the holiday and off we went up to room 914.
Room: Really nice, clean spacious room for 2 adults and a 4 year old, could have done with more coat hangers but it's not a problem. Sea view from balcony from a side angle and great view of the main pools, coast and mountains (not the side of the water slide picture).
Entertainment: One of the reasons for a lower rating, the entertainment isn't great and seemed a bit lazy. My main issue was when you see that the mini disco or show is in 'Artemis Hall' or 'Wings Pub'... The hall is a conference room and it was so bad in there for entertainment and just doesn't work as a venue, so hot and no air con was on, drinks were poor in there, there was no reasoning why on some of the days everything was put in there! When the shows and disco were on the outside stage area, it was good. The shows that were done by outside acts were the only highlight of entertainment.
Night 1 - Outside stage - Mini Disco, No show but was a pretty average getting people on stage type thing from the animation team
Night 2 - Artemis Hall - Mini Disco, Turkish performers. This was really poor and first experience of the the hall, we left within 10 minutes of the 'show'. You're all at one level and can't see a thing + the show was boring.
Night 3 - Artemis Hall - Mini Disco, Acrobats. Poor venue but was a good show, you could tell the performers didn't want to do the show in there. My 4 year old loved the show and was pretending to be an acrobat after on the old conference room carpet...
Night 4 - Outside stage - Mini Disco, Dancing show. It was okay and something to watch
Night 5 - Outside stage - Mini Disco, No show but was a pretty average getting people on stage type thing from the animation team
Night 6 - Wings Pub - Mini Disco, 80s/90s disco night. This was absolutely horrendous... This is not the venue for a mini disco, the layout doesn't allow it to work, not much seating and you get a lot of rude inconsiderate central/eastern european people. The 80s/90s disco night was just a man in the 'dj booth' who put on a Youtube playlist on the large screen and played mainly 70s songs before we escaped and the music was absolutely deafening (i'm 34 and still love a good night out but this was bizarre)
Night 7 - Outside stage - Mini Disco, Mongolian circus/fire show. This was a good show and enjoyed it.
Service: If you're a pretty normal, well spoken, not rude average english person DO NOT EXPECT GOOD SERVICE... The waiters will look at you as you sit down during dinner and never ask if you want a drink or even greet and say hello, they will only ask some nationalities. I was prepared to tip as well to get good service but just didn't arrive. This is exactly the same in the main bar area, Luckily the bartenders were really fast and helpful when you go to the bar.
Food & drink: Food i thought was really nice (until Mexican night...), good selection and as i'm more of a lunch feaster on holiday the selection was repetitive in the snack bar area but was so nice it didn't bother me (fried chicken, chicken donner was really nice). They also had a good selection of ice cream throughout the day and waffle station. The restaurant food was nice for the evening meal and had a big selection of varied food. The childrens selection wasn't great, however luckily we have a 4 year old willing to eat a few more things! Desert was poor in the restaurant for children... All it needed was a simple ice cream or plain cake section!
So Mexican night... I want to start by saying the food was the best I had on holiday and was really nice BUT i regret eating it now as myself and my partner got sick off it. You might read this and think "Oh they had one too many spoons of hot sauce or chillis" but that's not the case at all. We nailed it down to the tacos, she had one and I had four... in the early hours of the morning my partner had bad diarrhea and then about 03:30 all hell broke loose from me from both ends, i've had food poisoning before but this was on a different level. Between 03:30 and 13:00 i was completely empty of anything left inside me, we're talking british canal water. Grim. As we both had to share the diarrhea tablets we luckily brought with us, I had no choice to go to the on-site 'doctor' to see if they would sell any similar tablets or even just electrolytes solution to get me back up again. As the first aider (don't expect a doctor if you do have any issues) didn't speak any English, we stood there in silence while i typed out on her google translate back and forth. The final message from her "Do you want to go to hospital, there is nothing I can do" - I think the on-site shop or doctor should probably stock really basic medicines for purchase. This whole experience ruined our last full day but i'm so thankful this wasn't the last night else Jet2 would have had to redecorate... (also so thankful our 4 year old turned down, trying some of our mexican food...)
Other observations: If it's raining during the day, there's nothing that much to do if you're with children. We had a day of rain on one our first full day and it was a struggle to keep occupied other than sit in the hotel bar and go in the ice cold indoor pool. I feel like the animation team could have been more visible and interactive on this day. Throughout the whole holiday the lobby bar was just rammed full of people, either playing board games, sitting round etc. which i found to be a bit of flag of the quality of the hotel if that's all they can do... There is no light background music and just talking noise and doesn't give it a good atmosphere. Thankfully some of the least likely looking 50+ year olds you'll ever see from Bosnia had some other plans, bringing down their pretty good speaker and playing music to create something! Was bizzare but great. Waterslides and pools are really good! My 4 year old loved the mid-aged splash area with the slides, named some slides and went on each one like 10 times a day (open blue one 'Windy Storm', Small blue 'Little Storm', 'Orange Storm', 'Pink Storm', Zebra pattern tunnel one... you guessed it 'Zebra Storm' and the darker one 'Dark Zebra' and more...) - He enjoyed himself on holiday so that's all that matters!
After this holiday I cannot believe people British and Irish have such a bad rap, some of the visitors in the hotel I came across were just the worst, terrible manners, rudeness, inconsiderate but we're always the bad guys! So weird. Also the German and SOME of the eastern european nationalities were actually really friendly (i did notice lack of service for some of these people too, so I didn't feel as targeted)
Overall i wouldn't call this a 5* hotel, maybe 4/4.5* as there are so many little things that could improve to make this hotel excellent!
We did enjoy it a lot and my own floor of comparing it to our last Turkey holiday last year at Calimera Serra Palace in Antalya probably clouded my vision a bit because that hotel and holiday was absolutely floorless in comparison to this.
I don't think it deserves a 5 star review, I would have given it 4 stars if we didn't get sick and getting sick on holiday is a big flag and should not happen.
