My wife and I stayed at the Korumar Beach Resort between 13th and 24th August 2026. Overall the stay was pleasant. The food was lovely and there was a wide selection to choose from. The entertainment each evening was nice and well orchestrated. However there are some negatives which need to be highlighted. First of all the hotel does not provide an iron and ironing board in the rooms which for a 5 star hotel is not acceptable. Guests are told to use the laundry service for which there is a charge and is purely a money making concept. They state that apparently only the suites have irons. This is totally unacceptable for a 5 star establishments. We had to strongly raise our concerns with the guest relations manager Ebru and were eventually allowed an iron for 1hr so we could iron our clothes. Secondly when we approached the reception desk in the evening on our second day around 9pm to ask if we could use an iron the front desk staff namely Layla was very unhelpful and refused to provide us with an iron even though she stated that they do have irons. She also laughed in my face when I asked for her name and eventually wrote it down on a piece of paper. A second front desk staff called Esma who was with Layla seemed disinterested in helping us. When I asked to speak to the manager Layla said they is no manager on site at the hotel during the night which I found hard to believe as there should be a manager on site 24hrs. Generally all the other staff at the hotel were very helpful and polite especially Ebet who worked in the over 16's restaurant. She was very humble and always polite and is a credit to the hotel unlike Layla and Esma at the front desk. They did not portray a good image of the hotel. I would not return to this hotel due to the rudeness of Layla and Esma and also the fact they do not provide irons in the room which should be a basic amenity for a 5 star hotel and due to this I will not be recommending this hotel to family and friends.
Fantastic holiday here. Lovely hotel very spotlessly clean brilliant food and activities big shout at for animation, mert, baha, ozzy, elsa and onur. Lovely and helpful team thanks for everything
Positives: Amazing hotel, cannot fault it. Lovely size junior suite, perfect for family of 4 with jacuzzi bath which the kids enjoyed after a day at the beach. Location was private, surrounded by mountains so it felt very exclusive indeed! The pool was huge and you were never rushing for a sunbed. The beach was lovely and great calm waters for the young kids. The food was lovely and the kids corner was great for them to help themselves. The tables were great too, two up two down so it was at a kids height. People couldn’t do enough for you and the massage was also a nice. Great sized gym too!
Negative: Really scratching my head to find one, so I won’t put anything!
Not been yet but I have a wife with mobility problems so I’m hoping that it is reasonably flat, can anyone help with this.
I think hotel was really good in most places but a few negatives meant it wasn’t excellent for us.
Positives -
Great beach which includes beds for those who like the shade.
Spacious and modern bedrooms with lovely bathroom.
Very clean hotel in most places with staff always around cleaning.
Pool towel hut open early until late so can change when you like.
Great water slides.
Good entertainment from what we saw.
Good kids club.
Amazing pool - biggest I have seen and was a good temperature in August. As a group of 8 we always found beds together at 9 in the morning.
Great air con in the rooms.
Staff - friendly and happy to help with requests.
À la carte - food was excellent when we tried the Turkish . Would recommend a visit.
Sunsets - incredible, go down to the beach one night to watch it you won’t regret it.
A number of bars open to get drinks from in the day and evening. Nice fresh waffles and ice cream available in the day, as well as cakes from the patisserie.
Negatives for us. Food - although the food was nice it was very repetitive with little changed each day for each meal type. We found some of the food to be cold and often in the evening trays weren’t replenished meaning there was less choice. Restaurant - can be hard to find a clean table in the later in the evening as a large group as plates seem to take a while to be cleaned away. I think this is mainly due to the amount of people to staff rather than a lack of effort from staff. Pool toilets - although the rest of the hotel was extremely clean, these didn’t seem to be cleaned very often. These are also the ones to be used in the evening for the entertainment so would be better if there were a few more to stop the queuing. Room shower - hard to get the right temp between hot and cold and pressure wasn’t great. Drinks - cocktails were hit and miss. Had some lovely frozen margaritas in the lobby bar but often found that they were too strong too drink from the entertainment bar for me but this is personal taste. Payable extras. - there was an additional cost of 3 euros for popcorn and candy floss for kids in the evening. There was also an additional charge of 15 euros for t shirt painting in the kids club which seemed high for the cost of a t shirt. Photographer in hotel - realised that when I got home that I was overcharged by around £15 on the price agreed. Perhaps my fault for not realising at the time but please check the prices when paying. Don’t know if this is linked to the hotel or independent.
Overall we had a nice week but the food was a big negative for us so wouldn’t return again.
