The Ilayda Avantgarde Hotel is exquisitely located in the city centre of Kusadasi, directly across the main beach promenade with a beautiful view over the Aegean Sea. The hotel also offers a scenic rooftop pool with a spacious sundeck which turns into a stylish rooftop lounge in the evening, while during the day the terrace coffee shop situated on the ground floor is the perfect place to enjoy a cappucino while watching people pass by. The modernly designed rooms, offer comfort and style and include free Wi-Fi access for added convenience.

The hotel location is excellent - on the seafront and close to the port and the town. The hotel mostly seems to cater for tour groups and one night stays before cruises which makes the atmosphere very ordinary. The rooms are spacious except for the bathroom which was small. Obviously if you can get a seafront room, the rooms are probably beautiful, but most of the standard rooms are side or rear facing with no view or outlook to speak of. The counterpoint is that rear and side rooms are quiet. The rooms were very clean, but the beds while comfortable are strangely furnished. There was no doona (duvet) and no top sheet, just a bottom sheet and a blanket like cotton throw which barely covered the bed let alone 2 people sleeping in it. While a blanket was available in the cupboard, a blanket was too hot in September. This was the weirdest bedding ever experienced. You either expect 2 sheets and a blanket or a bottom sheet with doona (duvet) and sometimes a top sheet. They were also no glasses in the room for drinking water or anything else, yet there was an empty fridge provided. What is the point of a fridge if you cannot drink anything from a glass, The rooftop bar is nice, but hard to find staff when you would like an evening drink.
Excellent hotel, best possible location, near to port and new marina, spotlessly clean, great room, comfy beds, nice powerful shower, fridge, delicious breakfast with very fresh food, nicely prepared and presented with good variety, do not miss the roof terrace with bar (8th floor) - lovely pool area with sunbeds, and at the bar, the very friendly barman made the best Negroni cocktail ever - all staff very friendly, but a special mention to Hassan, who showed us to room, and was very helpful and friendly
This was our 5th visit to the Hotel always book Deluxe Sea View corner room.The bathroom needs modernising at some point with a better shower ,flooring, lighting very dark & dangerous in the shower no handle to hold onto a slippery floor. For women a makeup mirror with a good light would be very useful.
The breakfast is always good & fresh although more hot European food would be nice, however the view compensates for this.
As always the staff are very professional with special thanks to (Hasan) who makes reception run smoothly along with (Murat on the booking information) . A special thanks also to the cleaners ( Gulgin) who is very efficient & helpful nothing is too much trouble , along with the men & women in the pool bar & restaurant.
The pool and sitting area needs some routine maintenance cables hanging down and grey ducting needs cleaning to maintain a clean image. Please as a request to change the music to something more relaxing & changed daily not so loud & beach club themed, different music everyday is easy to sort out, with current technology. Prices in the pool bar are quite expensive and seem to have gone up substantially but the quality of the food is good.
This review was written as a repeat visitor not to be read as criticism but observations for management maybe to consider for the future.
Would always recommend this Hotel if looking for a central hotel for easy walking into the town ,looking forward to return next year & thanks again to everyone.
Stayed for a night with family and absolutely loved it! The service was wonderful and the rooms were beautiful. The location is nice as the beach is just outside and there are a lot of food options around. The breakfast options at this hotel were amazing as well with great views on the top.
This hotel was booked by my tour company Crowded House as part of a four day tour. Fabulous location on the waterfront with easy access to everything & making for the most amazing sunset views. My room was very comfortable & clean. The shower had great water pressure and hot water at a stable temperature. Breakfast was an amazing feast. Fresh, fantastic choices with a stunning roof top view The gym was a huge surprise. A very large space. having the best quality and variety of machinery ever seen in a hotel gym Drinks very expensive the only downside!! I would definitely stay here again, if I was in this part of the world
