Over-looking the bay at Marmaris, this modern and tastefully styled hotel has a privileged position affording beautiful views out to sea and set within a pine-wood forest. Conveniently situated between Icmeler and Marmaris and with public transport stopping close to the hotel entrance, exploring the area couldn't be easier. Featuring a natural design and comfort, guests can benefit from a host of excellent facilities including an aquapark and sports' and entertainment programme as well as a choice of bars and eateries. The centre of Marmaris is 6 km away and worth a visit for its' excellent choice of shops, restaurants and popular nightlife. Ferries also operate from Marmaris harbour to the nearby Greek island of Rhodes.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages and facials. After a day at the private beach, you can enjoy other recreational amenities including a nightclub and a health club. Additional amenities at this hotel include concierge services, an arcade/games room and gift shops/newsstands.
The most important question when deciding whether a stay was truly good is: “Would I come back?” The answer is: YES!
My wife and I traveled here for a vacation focused on relaxation — beautiful waters, incredible sunny weather, and plenty of time to simply unwind. Orka delivered exactly what we were looking for.
The resort is surrounded by gorgeous mountain terrain and has a wonderful Mediterranean atmosphere. The property itself is very well maintained, with a modern, upscale design that gives it a good overall feel. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely presented.
The beach area was another highlight. There were plenty of sun loungers available, and having a bar nearby made it easy to spend the entire day by the water without needing to leave. The beach floor is made of small pebbles but did not interfere with the charm.
We also enjoyed the variety of food available throughout our stay. There was a good selection of different dishes, which helped keep things interesting, especially during a longer vacation.
The hospitality team, along with everyone we interacted with, was friendly and welcoming. They were also proactive about engaging guests and offering different activities, which added to the overall experience.
Overall, Orka gave us exactly the relaxing vacation we were hoping for. Beautiful surroundings, great weather, a well-maintained resort, good food, and genuinely friendly service. We would absolutely come back!
We had booked a week’s stay in Marmaris well in advance and had been looking forward to it all year. After seeing promotional videos online featuring your cabanas, we specifically booked one for our third day — an experience we were very excited about.
Regrettably, we were extremely underwhelmed by the actual experience. Upon arrival, we received no welcome or hospitality whatsoever; our payment was taken and we were simply directed where to go, with no assistance or explanation — and notably, the golf buggy ride shown in the promotional video was not provided.
We paid £215 for just the two of us, despite being informed that the same price applies for up to six people — a pricing structure that feels unfair and disproportionate. When we eventually found the cabanas, the only information we were given was regarding meal times: lunch served between 12:00–13:00, waffles at approximately 16:00, and a 18:00 closing time. The condition and presentation of the cabanas, as shown in the attached photos, fell far short of the standards implied by your marketing.
Ikram was brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us while we used the cabana facilities! He was so attentive and friendly and really made the days that we spent there worthwhile and he is definitely 5 star! The only let down is the hotel itself, it’s meant to be 5 star but the facilities are poor and the reception team are not willing to help and are so arrogant. Really let the days down as we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for a bell boy to take us down to the cabana and asked reception multiple times to which we got no response or fobbed off.
As a returning guest, I am always impressed by the high level of service and hospitality at this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the friendly and attentive staff. And very special thanks to Anna and Manshuk for their kindness and attention to the special needs. They ensured a comfortable stay, taking into account all the needs of elderly guest. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
