Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Nice hotel. Bar staff and reception were great. House keeping was poor. Three days out of ten our room was not cleaned. When we reported to manager, she replied it was only twice it happened why would we lie. Her response was what do you want me to do about it, no apology.
We had previously been to Icmeler and our hotels had been a bit out of the way, the Navy Hotel is 2 minutes to the beach and 2 minutes to the strip. The location was spot on. When we arrived to check in the girl gave us a really warm welcome and quickly got us booked in and up to our room. There are lifts in both buildings so if your mobility is an issue you're sorted. We were there on a Bed and Breakfast basis which was fine, the choices were fine, something for everyone. If I had anything to say about our room it would be that it was a bit on the small side, there were bigger rooms in the hotel so I did ask if we could possibly upgrade, unfortunately the Hotel was full so that was not available. This was not a disadvantage as to be fair you only use your room to shower, Sleep and lie on your bed with the air con on when the temperature is in the 40's. The pool area was nice and clean and had enough sunbeds with nice thick mattresses. There were no sunbed wars as far as I'm aware, we spent our days on the beach. The restaurant was clean, food well presented and staff quick to fill up fresh food when it was starting to run low. The bar staff were great, it was lovely sitting in the bar where the staff were so friendly. Loved the dish of mixed nuts you got with your drinks.
I know it’s cheaper hotel I get that but wow The whole place could do with a clean it’s dirty and falling to bits. The patio area was small and the sun-beds were so close to the patio you were in the patio area and were face to face with people trying to sunbathe The headboard was coming away from the wall the skirting boards were coming off the wall. The wallpaper was coming away from the wall. And the bathroom was disguising. The only plus side was the bar area and the staff in the bar were very friendly and hospitable can’t fault them.
My wife & I visited the Navy Hotel in June 2026, for a 2 week stay, on a bed / breakfast basis. We were in a standard room on the ground floor room 119, with the balcony overlooking the pool area, the balcony was large with 3 chairs & a small table. The room had 2 single beds, with a drawer unit next to the beds, there was a double wardrobe, with a drawer unit in between, one wardrobe had a safe in it, which cost £25 a week. The bathroom had a decent sized shower unit in it, with WC [ toilet paper in a bin ], with a large sink [ Bring a sink plug ] + a hair dryer. Clean towels & shower mat changed every day Air- conditioning is charged per day for a standard room, if you require it. There are deluxe rooms, at a extra charge, with free air-conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities. Breakfast The breakfast menu is very good, there is a cooking station for omelettes, scrambled, fried eggs, omelettes with fillings on offer. Boiled eggs, meats , cheeses, garlic mushrooms with cheese, Turkish food, juices, cereals, fruit, different mixes every day, coffee machine, different types of tea on offer. Reception area with seating, money exchange, also the hotel has its own bar, called the Garden Bar, with TV's,, with bar prices not over the top. The hotel does meals & snacks during the day & evening, we had quite a few during our stay. The Hotel & Garden bar is done in a Navy theme, with different objects to do with sea-faring. The hotel is situated 5 mins from the beach, & 5 mins from the Dolphin Square with all the main restaurants. One tip bring a mug with you, the cups are standard size, I like a large tea in a morning. We had a good 2 week stay at the Navy Hotel, with good service & food. We return again to the Navy Hotel in September 2026 for a 3 week stay.
