We stayed at the Faros Premier for 9 nights - such a gorgeous hotel. It’s an adults only so it’s lovely and peaceful. Rooms are cleaned daily and also have a fridge which was a bonus. Food was great with a lot of choice. Entertainment was on throughout the day and then a variety of shows on the night. Honey from the entertainment team was great - so funny and great with all the customers. Will definitely come back as it’s our 1st time in Icmeler.
We have a good holiday we enjoyed the water gym at the beach with Helen she was very friendly and funny.
We flew into Dalaman and after a 1.5hr transfer we arrived at Faros Premium Beach. Very happy with the location as it’s right on the beach with lots around Içmeller and plenty of transport options nearby to explore Marmaris aswell (15mins away).
Being an adults only hotel the atmosphere was calm and relaxed especially compared to the majority of hotels in the area. We were impressed at the amount of activities and entertainment throughout the days - most evenings have a specific theme and the hotel put a lot of effort in transforming the decking accordingly. If you’re lucky, there’s a fantastic golden retriever that roams the beach and will happily sit and play
The main highlight of our trip was the staff. All were really friendly but a big shoutout to Antonio who greeted us in passing on our first day. He Informed us about the spa and facilities in a polite friendly manner & during the treatment (we highly recommend) he came to check on us. Whenever he would see us he was always happy to sit down and chat , answer questions and give recommendations for Içmeller and Marmaris. It always felt genuine and not rushed in any sort of way - an all round stand up guy who has you in his best interest.
Rooms were very nice, slightly different from the photos but to be expected. Water pressure and temperature in the shower were great and efficient air con. Only small drawback is the position of the AC unit on the balcony however it didn’t bother us at all.
Very happy with the duration of the time slots for food which gives you plenty of freedom. We feel very strongly that Faros Premium Beach is great value for money and we’d be more than willing to come back again!
We had a lovely, relaxing time here. The spa is heavenly and well worth a visit - recommend the comfort package - wow! Location is spot on with a beautiful sea view from our room and a gorgeous beach. The whole place is spotless. All staff including those in the kitchen, at the bar, pool, spa staff, cleaners, entertainment etc. were very kind and welcoming, making an effort to get to know us and remembering our names. Honey and Helen both showed real enthusiasm for their job and were both a joy to be around. Antonio helped us with anything we needed and nothing was too much. A huge thank you to all the staff here, you're wonderful and a real credit to the hotel.
The entertainment team are lovely - in particular the two girls, Helen and Honey. Aquagym is lots of fun. They are very friendly and are happy to help with recommendations. For example Helen gave us a recommendation for breakfast and it was divine.
We had a lovely massage and Turkish bath - the massage girls are incredible and lovely.
Most of the bar men are lovely. I don’t drink alcohol and they have given me a lot of stick for this which has been quite frustrating. They make alcoholic smoothies on the beach but refuse to make non alcoholic versions which isn’t very inclusive.
We paid for a suite with a sea view but unfortunately the room was quite dated and the additional room was simply a sofa bed which had a rock solid mattress. The photographs of the hotel don’t reflect the reality of this hotel. It is more of a 2/3 star hotel in my view. There was also a bad smell of the drains/ sewage in our room/ surrounding the hotel. Thankfully after a morning of deliberation, the management team changed our room and it is much better. We now have a balcony in each room and they are slightly bigger.
Noise - due to the location the noise is very loud at nighttime until around 4/5am so make sure you bring headphones to sleep in.
Food - some of the food has been lovely such as the grilled chicken. The breakfast is disappointing in that there aren’t any cakes/pastries at all. There is an omelette station but there is only a choice of two ingredients such as cheese and tomato on one day or cheese and turkey ham on another.
The swimming pool area has some cool cabanas for shade but it is slightly small and it could do with a swim up bar.
The view of the sea is gorgeous but sadly it is a stoney beach with no sand making it difficult to walk into the sea.
The interior could do with updating - it looks like a prison inside.
However, the staff make this hotel with their joyful personalities. They are very encouraging and keen to involve everybody. The piña coladas are gorgeous, so are the iced coffees and their ice cream is very good quality. It is hugely disappointing that they do not cater for gluten free or dairy free dietary requirements. They have no almond/coconut/oat milk either.
The location is great if you want to be next to a (non sandy) beach, close by to restaurants and bars.
