Located in the resort of Icmeler, some 7 km from the popular resort of Marmaris, this modern and stylish hotel offers a luxurious aesthetic, suitable for adults. Within 40 metres of the private beach and surrounded by pine covered hills, guests can enjoy the beauty of the environs whilst also being central to shops, entertainment venues and public transport. A choice of eateries are available for guests' culinary enjoyment within the hotel including a fashionable coffee bar while meals can be eaten on the desked terrace during the warm, sunny months. For relaxation, guests can take advantage of the on-site spa featuring rejuvenating massage treatments.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages. You can soak up the sun at the private beach or enjoy other recreational amenities including an outdoor pool and a sauna. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and a hair salon.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Good location nice friendly staff would return
We stayed here for 9 nights and, overall, had a good holiday. However, there are quite a few things the hotel could improve to make guests’ stays more enjoyable. Unfortunately, the noise from the bars surrounding the hotel is a major issue, and for that reason, I feel that 3 stars is a fair rating.
Food & Drinks
The food at this hotel is lovely. We ate well every evening and, although the selection is relatively small due to the size of the hotel, we never struggled to find something we enjoyed. The snack bar was also great for the usual burgers, pizzas and other snacks.
I do think the drinks selection could be improved, and I also think it would make a huge difference if the inside bar was opened. The hotel doesn’t provide any entertainment, which we knew before booking, but having an indoor bar with some music in the evenings would really improve the atmosphere and give guests somewhere to relax after dinner.
Staff
The staff are definitely one of the best things about this hotel, particularly the restaurant staff. They are always smiling, friendly and happy to say hello. They really are a credit to the hotel and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, we did have an issue with one of the receptionists. I feel she would benefit from some additional training, particularly with English. Considering the number of English-speaking guests who stay at the hotel, being able to communicate more effectively would be important. On several occasions, she struggled to understand what we were asking and was therefore unable to help with our concerns.
Location & Noise
There are definitely pros and cons to the hotel’s location. The main advantage is that it is right in the middle of everything, with the beach, bars and shops all within easy walking distance. However, this is also the hotel’s biggest downside.
There is a very loud bar called Shake Bar directly opposite the hotel, and I honestly don’t know how anyone staying in rooms ending in 1–8 manages to sleep when the music is playing. We had seen previous reviews mentioning this issue, so I contacted the hotel several times by email and WhatsApp before our arrival, specifically asking to be placed as far away from the bar as possible.
Unfortunately, this request was completely ignored. We arrived at around 1am on our first night and were shocked to find that our room was directly opposite the bar. We were told that nothing could be done until the following morning.
The next morning, we were initially told that the hotel was fully booked and there were no other rooms available. It was only after my partner became extremely upset and broke down in tears that a room suddenly became available and we were moved. Thankfully, the noise in the new room was much more manageable.
If you are someone who likes to go to bed early or values a quiet night’s sleep, I would seriously consider the location and room placement before booking this hotel.
Overall
If you have already booked this hotel, I’m sure you will still have a nice holiday. The food is good, the location is convenient, and the majority of the staff are genuinely lovely and welcoming.
However, the noise is a significant issue and, for me, it is the main reason I would not return to this hotel. With better communication regarding room requests, improvements to the drinks and evening atmosphere, and most importantly, better management of the noise issue, this hotel could provide a much better experience for its guests.
For us, 3 stars is a fair rating.
Elite World Marmaris – Excellent Food, Fantastic Staff and Great Value (8/10)
We recently spent 9 nights at Elite World Marmaris in İçmeler and had a really enjoyable stay. Overall, we'd rate the hotel 8/10 and would happily return. We felt it represented excellent value for money, and we would recommend it on the food and staff service alone.
Food and Drink – A Real Highlight
We were really impressed with the variety of food and drink available for an all-inclusive hotel.
Breakfast was consistent throughout our stay, but there was always plenty of choice, including fresh fruit, freshly made omelettes, a large selection of breads, sausages, yoghurts, hash browns, mushrooms, pastries and more. Having drinks served to the table during buffet hours was also a lovely touch.
Lunch and dinner were equally good, with dishes changing daily. The meatballs were excellent, as were the pasta dishes. There was always a good selection of vegetables, different types of potatoes, fish, kebabs and other dishes to try. We never felt bored with dinner, as there was always something different to sample.
The drinks selection was good, and the pool bar staying open until midnight was a real bonus. We also appreciated being able to take drinks from the pool bar down to the beach.
Another highlight was the coffee bar, which opened from very early in the morning until the early hours. It offered a good selection of hot drinks and sweet treats, making it a great place to stop for a coffee throughout the day or evening.
Staff and Service – Outstanding
The staff were consistently attentive, polite and helpful. They were a pleasure to be around and contributed significantly to making our stay so enjoyable.
Whenever we needed assistance, the response was good. For example, we had an issue with the room safe when we first arrived, but this was resolved very quickly. We also found the staff accommodating when we requested a change to the blankets in our room.
For us, the food and the quality of service alone make this hotel worth recommending.
Room and Housekeeping
Our room was comfortable and clean, with just about enough space for our needs. There were plenty of power points, which was useful.
Housekeeping operated using a green/red light system, allowing guests to indicate when they wanted their room cleaned. We found this a practical arrangement.
The bed was reasonably comfortable, although we found the blankets a little scratchy. However, when we asked, the staff changed them for fleece alternatives, which we appreciated.
One area that could be improved was the television. There were very few English-language channels, with most of those available being news channels.
We also had an issue with the room safe on arrival, but, as mentioned, this was fixed quickly.
Beach and Sunbeds
The hotel's beachfront location was a real highlight. We spent our time on the beach and swimming in the sea rather than using the swimming pool.
There were plenty of sun loungers available, so we didn't have to worry about struggling to find somewhere to relax. Being able to take drinks from the pool bar down to the beach was another advantage.
Having the beach and sea right on the doorstep made the location particularly appealing.
Location and Evening Entertainment
The location is excellent, right on the beach and within easy reach of the surrounding resort. However, there is one important point worth mentioning.
The hotel is next to some louder hotels and bars, and the noise made it difficult to sleep before around 12:30 am on some nights. Although the hotel itself is relatively quiet, the surrounding entertainment venues mean that the immediate area can be noisy in the evenings.
The hotel has limited entertainment of its own, with only occasional entertainment on a few evenings during dinner. We would have liked more substantial evening entertainment, particularly after spending the day on the beach.
On the other hand, the lack of entertainment encouraged us to venture out and explore İçmeler, which was a positive in its own way. However, we found drinks quite expensive when going out, something worth bearing in mind if you're planning to spend a lot of time in the local bars.
Overall Verdict – Excellent Value for Money
We had a very enjoyable 9-night stay at Elite World Marmaris and felt it represented excellent value for money.
The excellent food variety, good drinks selection, outstanding staff service and fantastic beachfront location were the main highlights for us. The food was varied enough that we never became bored with the choices, and the staff were consistently polite, attentive and helpful.
The main drawbacks were the noise from neighbouring hotels and bars, the limited evening entertainment and the lack of English-language television channels.
Despite these points, we would happily return and would recommend this hotel to others. If you're looking for a beachfront all-inclusive hotel with excellent food, great service and good value for money, Elite World Marmaris is well worth considering.

A wonderful week away at the elite world.
It’s such a lovely hotel.
We were welcomed by a lovely man from reception. He even brought our luggage inside for us.
We had a sea view room on the very top floor. With amazing views of the whole bay of icmeler.
The hotel is very clean & well presented.
The only negative is there is only 1 toilet for the whole hotel to use in the lobby right by the lift.
The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast & evening meal. With food & drink available from both the snack bar & pool bar throughout the day.
The food is very good. Something for everyone.
Fresh eggs/ omelettes cooked in front of you.
Pancakes. Cereals & yogurts. Plenty for all.
Soups & salads available if thats what you want.
We had a Turkish night which was lovely. The food was amazing.
There was music & belly dancing.
Restaurant staff are such lovely polite & friendly people
We made a few friends, especially with Roni.
He is a credit to the hotel. Can’t do enough for you. Staff are always

The manager in the restaurant always says hello & welcomes you.
The female manager on the reception is quite rude & can’t speak very good English at all.
We asked if we could keep our room on the day of our departure, she said no not possible straight away without knowing what room we were from or checking on the computer. Told us to go away.
Overall this hotel has everything you need.
It’s a 1 minute walk to the beachfront where you will find the elite world beach.
Where you can have a sun lounger & the barman mustafa brings you drinks / food. Cheeky chap! Had a right laugh with him.
The hotel is next to a loud bar called the shake bar, where they have loud music right up til 1am. But after a few nights you do actually get used to it, but saying that, I don’t know what the side sea view rooms are like overlooking that particular bar. So if you want peace then don’t choose a side room.
You can get a water taxi from pier 15 to marmaris or turunc. Such a lovely way to see the beautiful scenery. Or catch the dolmus ( little white & orange bus) they pick you up anywhere along the Main Street, just hold your hand out & they will stop for you. Very cheap.
Big boat trips are from marmaris I think.
Great hotel, great food, lovely staff & the location is perfect for all the shops & bars.
