Rixos Premium Belek

We have just completed a wonderful 12-night stay as a family of two adults and a 5-year-old. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend the hotel, particularly for families.

We stayed in a deluxe double room with a super king bed and a separate single bed. I was really pleased that the single bed was a proper bed rather than a sofa bed - a big bonus when travelling with a child!

Highlights

• Every member of staff worked incredibly hard and was kind and helpful throughout our stay.
• The room was cleaned well, with fresh towels provided daily.
• Fantastic food in all of the à la carte restaurants, with the Asian restaurant being our favourite. The buffet was also very good, although we did miss having pork products available.
• Possibly the best San Sebastian cheesecake we have ever tasted in Godiva.
• Clean and warm pool, with amazing pool bed service.
• Kids' club was great for our 5-year-old, with varied activities and helpful staff.
• Brilliant to have access included to Land of Legends, including the à la carte restaurants.
• The spa was lovely and relaxing. We both had two massages during our stay and would definitely recommend the treatments.

A few areas for improvement

• Land of Legends shuttle, more frequent shuttle times would be helpful. We ended up using taxis on several occasions, which were very expensive.
• All three large pool sections are 1.4m deep, so a shallow area would be a great addition for younger children.
• The super king mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable. I reported this to reception and was told the mattress would be changed, but this never happened. I ended up with a bad back and eventually slept in the much more comfortable single bed while my husband and son shared the Super King!
• The air conditioning did not seem to cool the room properly at night. It was tested (during the day) and we were told it was working correctly, but on several nights we had very restless, broken sleep and woke up sweating because the room felt too warm.
• The spa itself was lovely, but the adult-only pool area could have been better. The pool seemed dirty, used towels were left around, and there were no clean towels available for quite a long time. Young children were also often in the area despite it being adults only. The indoor spa pool was cold, but peaceful and quiet.

Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday and made some wonderful memories. The hardworking staff, excellent food, great kids' club, fantastic pool service and access to Land of Legends made it a really enjoyable stay. With a few improvements, particularly regarding the beds, air conditioning and some of the facilities, it could have been absolutely perfect.

We have stayed in many hotels across Antalya and have to day the service at the Rixos premium Belek is one of the best. As a family who have two people with Coeliac disease and requiring gluten free food it can always cause anxiety before or during a holiday, especially if there is a language barrier. On the morning after our arrival we were added to a WhatsApp network with the guest relations team. They would send us daily updates of the activities at the hotel for that day. We discussed our allergies with them and they told us that if there was anything we wanted they would ask the chefs to prepare it specifically for us. They would ask us every day what we would like and at what time. We had gluten free pancakes, pizza, garlic bread amongst other things while we were there. The guest relations team was amazing in this sense and the whatsapp group was an easy and ingenious way of talking to them about anything, no matter how small or big, without having to go down to the desk. The pools and the activities were good, and the restaurant and variety was excellent. My son had gluten free éclairs for the first time! And the Godiver pattiserie had the best soft serve vanilla ice cream as well as fresh chocolates made daily. We used our inclusive Land of Legends access on three days while we were there, and although queuing for rides can be tedious, the rides were of a high standard. I would advise anyone to consider getting fast track passes if the park is particularly busy, especially considering you aren't paying for entry. All in all, the hotel was really excellent and the guest service team were there daily to make sure our experience was as good as it could be.

We have just returned from our holiday at Land of Legends. We had a fabulous time . So much to do activity wise for adults and kids. The food was excellent. I particularly liked the Italian restaurant but they were all really good ! Beach and pool facilities all good and very attentive waiting staff . Toilets near beach and in all public areas were immaculate. Entertainment every day was superb with different singers/bands in the pool bar . Really good shows on the main stage , something for everyone .Whilst we were here our grandson became ill and was admitted to hospital . Hotel staff went above and beyond to help . Because of this our grandson missed the football tournament that he was so looking forward to . Ademi and Emre arranged for some special gifts and a breakfast at the Nickelodeon hotel to make up for his disappointment which he loved . We are so grateful for their kindness to our family . Thanks to all for making our holiday so memorable .
