Belek

Although the history of Belek dates back over 2000 years the modern resort as we know it was developed in the 1980’s specifically for the golf and luxury markets. A string of 4 and 5-star hotels are set along one of the finest beaches on the Turkish coast with 10 miles of pristine sand and turquoise waters.

Belek is located about 30 minutes (40km) away from Antalya airport and there are many things to see and do in the nearby vicinity. If you are a keen golfer you will be spoilt for choice with some of Turkey’s best golf courses situated nearby. Shoppers will find the Belek Shopping Bazaar the perfect place to buy gifts and souvenirs. Foodies will never go hungry with a wide selection of local Turkish restaurants located in and around Belek. If you want to explore further, Belek is ideally located between the popular resorts of Antalya and Side – both of which are just a taxi ride away.

With a rich history dating back to the 4th century BC, Belek boasts some amazing cultural and historic treasures. Aspendos Theatre, built in 155 BC, is one of the best-preserved world heritage sites and is just a short drive away. Whilst in Belek you can also easily explore Antalya old town, Hadrian Gate, Side Apollo Template and the Ancient Theatre.
