Additional amenities at this property include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and an arcade/games room.
We spent 7 days here , and had a lovely holiday. I’ll be honest, had we not of got access to The Crown we would not have booked. Carya seems a bit tired, and The Crown is the star of the show. The pools are lovely, the hotel big, clean and service good, rooms nice, beds comfy but nothing really shines, other than the patisserie, that is next level! The chocolates and coffee are seriously impressive. We spent most of our time in The Crown which is adjoined, we dined in their restaurants most nights are they are all very high quality with great service. Whilst you can stay at Carya and access The Crown is well worth it, but if it was Carya only we wouldn’t see that as value.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who has high expectations and enjoys a truly luxurious holiday. It definitely deserves to be considered one of the best hotels in Turkey.
From the moment you arrive until the very end of your stay, you feel genuinely well taken care of. After spending a week here, I honestly cannot think of a single thing to complain about.
There are plenty of attractions for children, a fantastic swimming pool with warm water, a beautiful beach, delicious food, high-quality shows, and spacious, spotless rooms decorated with great elegance and attention to detail.
What impressed me the most was the Regnum Assist service – always available to answer any question and ready to help at any time.
I am a very demanding guest, and this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. I was absolutely delighted with my stay and would highly recommend it.
Beautiful resort, but a very disappointing experience
We had very mixed feelings about our stay at Regnum Carya.
Let me start with the positives, because there really are many. The resort is huge, beautiful and very spacious. The beach is absolutely stunning, the pier is lovely, and there are plenty of sunbeds. There are bars, restaurants and snack stations everywhere, so you are never far from ice cream, coffee, drinks or something to eat. The food was good with plenty of choice.
The beds were comfortable, the minibar was refilled every day, and the gym was excellent – very clean and equipped with high-quality equipment. The evening entertainment was also fantastic, with music by the beach, live music at the bars and piano performances. There are also little cars driving around the resort, which is very useful because the property is so large. The animal farm was beautifully maintained and would be a lovely attraction for children. We also really appreciated the comfortable area available after check-out while waiting for our transfer.
Unfortunately, there were also some serious disappointments.
Our room for three adults had one large bed and a single sofa-bed, which we felt was not acceptable for the price we paid. The room was also surprisingly dirty for a hotel of this standard. There was a lot of dust, the carpets had stains and the cleaning was very superficial. We complained and even sent photos to the hotel. Things improved slightly afterwards, but we still found dirty glasses and rubbish left behind after cleaning.
The toiletries were another disappointment. The hotel advertised branded toiletries, but we only found Regnum’s own products in the room.
But the most upsetting part of our stay was having money stolen from our belongings.
On the third day, around £180 was taken from our bags and wallet. We have travelled a lot and stayed in many different hotels, and we have never experienced anything like this before. We were completely shocked, especially in a resort of this standard.
We immediately contacted the manager and reported what had happened. We asked the hotel to call the police. We were initially told this would be done, but later we were told that we had to go to the police ourselves and make a report before the hotel could proceed with any further investigation.
We were also told that the hotel was not responsible because the money should have been kept in the safe.
What upset us most was the lack of support and communication. From that moment, our holiday became stressful. We did not want to spend our precious holiday dealing with this situation, but we also felt that the hotel was more interested in closing the matter than properly investigating it.
We asked for a report of the incident and a written explanation from the hotel, but unfortunately we never received one.
This experience really changed how we felt about the hotel. Regnum Carya has everything you would expect from a luxury resort – beautiful surroundings, great facilities, good food and plenty of entertainment. But for us, feeling safe, respected and properly looked after is just as important as having beautiful facilities.
Overall, we still had some enjoyable moments and the resort itself is impressive. However, the poor attention to cleanliness, the communication issues and especially the way our theft was handled left us very disappointed.
A beautiful resort, but sadly not an experience that matched the luxury image or the price we paid.
