Great vacations at Kaya Palazzo Belek. Well done for the dedicated staff. Great service as well from maintenance and housekeeping. Pools well maintained. Weather great at that time. I need to try orher services. City is also nice. I recommend.
Phenomenal impressions💫 from the Vitaly Spa center in Kaya Palazzo Golf Resort, where my son and I had massages. First, we had a conversation with the wonderful Natalya, who recommended us suitable massages. The professional physiotherapist Temur and Tamar made us feel reborn💪. They are fantastic and for every recommendation👍. Thank you to everyone at the Spa, we had a great experience😊🫶💫
Just returned from 10 nights with my two children (2 and 10) special shout outs straight away to Enver who served us in the main restaurant and snack bar on multiple occasions, he was so attentive, polite and just generally the nicest guy. A real credit to the hotel, nothing was too much and his English was really good. Also Obaite - I hope this is right, again remembered things like our drinks and just a lovely guy and finally Zaza - photography team - absolutely the best guy, if you want to book a photoshoot then chose him. He’s so good with the kids, isn’t pushy at all to get the booking and just honestly really made our stay.
Firstly the positives - the hotel is beautiful, ideal for children with the splash area and slides which both my children loved. Lots is space to swim without feeling crowded and we never struggled to get a sunbed but they did get filled. We had a swim up suite and the size of the room was great, restaurant is massive and whilst there was lots of choice for food, we did struggle towards the end personally. We could have booked an à la carte but sadly the menu didn’t appeal to the kids taste buds so we didn’t. We used the snack bar twice and this was nice and on our last day we discovered another pool area by the beach. Didn’t use the kids clubs and didn’t go to the entertainment due to our smallest one being shattered. We have only stayed in one other hotel in Turkey so could only compare to that one and this did well but sadly did lack in parts.
Some of the staff are really unhelpful and quite miserable, especially in the dessert area by the slides which did the roll desserts - we only discovered this on the last two days and always seemed to be unable to get them straight away and would have to wait which was fine but then would return to be told to wait longer, seemed to always be a problem.
The swim up suite isn’t a swim up suite - it’s basically a suite with pool access that’s shared but you have to walk on really dry mud/grass to get to it and it sadly needs some TLC, with some of the vents broke/stone broken off in the pool, wooden bridge needs some TLC too. If you can afford to upgrade to the lagoon then I would based off of visually seeing, they looked stunning from outside and like actual swim up suites.
The bar areas do lack some service in parts, upstairs in the main lobby you don’t really get table service for drinks. Arrival was ok but didn’t seem to be very attentive or welcoming, but offered juice rather than champagne which we didn’t like so much and sadly the room wasn’t ready, one of those things. This followed throughout the holiday as no one in the main lobby seemed to be very friendly.
The standard of cleanliness was ok, and I loved that you were added to a WhatsApp group which allowed you to ask questions/get help.
Partner wanted to watch football (English) was advised this would be available and then sadly couldn’t do this as they didn’t have the license to show.
Parts of the hotel lacked atmopshere but I have to say considering we visited in school holidays I didn’t ever feel overwhelmed with the amount of people. Not a reflection of the hotel but the amount of rude people was insane, lacking basics like allowing people with buggy’s to exit the lift safely before them rudely pushing their way in and this followed on to the their behaviour in the buffet.
Another big pet peeve for us was the recommendation of taxis - we were told we couldn’t use them on a meter but they had set rates so we paid 30 euros to go to land of legends which was literally 2 mins away. And then also used to go to town which was also 2 minutes away - this cost 30 euros as well and then you are dropped outside a VERY expensive shop which you are bullied into buying in to basically get your cab back - as they call the cab for you!!!
Land of legends is deffo worth the visit but be prepared to spend when there as it’s not cheap. You could walk this to save the cab fare.
The shop is actually the worst hotel prices I’ve seen - 65 euros for a float that was 15 euros in the town - Cosca Market in Kadriye town - he’s great.
The arcade was such a let down - this is a minimum of 50 euros, we paid 100 euros to get 30 bonus but half the games were off or not working. Previous hotel we stayed in this was free so I wasn’t prepared when this charged.
Overall there were certain staff who made our stay but after two years of coming to Turkey, we have decided to go to another country next year. It has got quite expensive personally.
The hotel is definitely worth a book but I do wish I’d read some of the tips before to have been more prepared but overall it was a lovely hotel which I believe is maintained beautifully. Yes some things needs some TLC but overall I felt like it was a 5 star hotel.
We had a wonderful stay at Kaya Palazzo Golf Resort Belek! Everything was excellent from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful and welcoming, with a great location in a lovely and convenient area.
