- Kaya Belek Hotel

Refurbished in 2011, this family friendly beach hotel comprises a total of 506 rooms and is ideal for spa and golf fans. Located on the long, sandy beach in the district of Belek on Turkey's Mediterranean Coast, the complex has many facilities and also caters for football and tennis groups. The golf course is just 300m from the hotel. Public transport and taxis can be found at the entrance of the hotel providing easy access to the city of Antalya, 35km away. (Some facilities may not be operational year round due to seasonal / weather conditions).
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I’m currently staying at Kaya Belek hotel and although the family and I are having an ok time I felt I needed to write a review This hotel is OK but it is definitely NOT a 5 star resort
When I booked this hotel I hadn’t seen any other reviews so was drawn in on what I thought was good value for a 5 star ultra all inclusive hotel however after visiting the hotel next door to Kaya Belek the Kaya Palazzo it’s clear to see a HUGE difference in standards
Many parts of the Kaya Belek have unfortunately started to look very old and tired our room looks very outdated with the sliding doors not working great and fixtures and fittings not looking that great
The food within the hotel is actually pretty good although already feeling a bit repetitive and we’ve only been here 4 days out of a 10 day stay
Entertainment team are very good and have put on some nice shows at the end of the day and work hard throughout the day to engage anyone that’s keen
Taxis be careful I was told I could walk to Carya golf club but it ended up being a 7km walk so ended up getting a taxi back which took 2 minutes and cost £20
It’s a shame as this hotel needs updating as it looks and feels like a very poor relation to the gorgeous hotel next door the Kaya Palazzo
Drinks are ok not many international brands but enough selection to get you through the night
Not many brits here so be prepared for carnage when it’s time to get food no one seems to care and just dive in
Unfortunately I wouldn’t return to this hotel as I feel there are better hotels around
We have just returned from a ten night stay at Kaya Belek Hotel, two adults and two children aged 4 and 10. The hotel itself is a little tired in places but this didn’t affect our stay at all. The pool area and slides were a big hit with both our kids and it was nice to be so close to the beach. The animation team were good and worked very hard. There was always something going on, we partook in three pool parties during our stay which were very enjoyable. The staff for most part were friendly and helpful. Any issues we had were dealt with promptly and efficiently. You get a free mini bar included with the all inclusive plus and a free safe which we thought was a nice touch. The evening entertainment was good including several themed nights where the hotel had gone to a lot of trouble by hiring outside talent such as acrobats, Djs and inflatables etc… The food was lovely and we always found something we liked. We found that some of the other guests didn’t understand the concept of queuing so be prepared because it can be a bit annoying but this isn’t the fault of the hotel itself. All in all we had a lovely stay and we did think we got value for money! Nice hotel!
Went at early August, 4 families, 4 kids. We had a lovely time.
Pros: The food was very good. The a-la-carte (Italian) restaurant was good. Stuff friendly and helpful. We had a few minor issues but they were sorted within minutes after reporting. Lots of food and drinks. All nice and very tasty. Good kids entertainment (mini disco). Good evening shows. The beach is sandy and tidy. Security guards and lifeguards were present on the beach. Kids pools and slides were nice. The hotel grounds were clean. The swimming pools were clean. The main stage for evening entertainment is located closer to the beach, hence the noise wasn't bad for kids sleeping. The loud music ende around 22:30-23:00ish.
Cons: The shops, located inside the hotel are super expensive due to the hotel's remote location from villages and bazars. It's a robbery and you even receive a receipt. The use of single use plastics, plastic waste, it is very very high. Water activity prices, that are located on the beach, they are depending from which hotel you come. But still super expensive. We lived on the 3rd floor, east wing, the corridors often smelled of cigarette smoke, very strongly.
All together, it was a nice and relaxing holiday.
Really good vacation, thanks to the animation team, you're great! We miss you already
Wonderful time, lovely people. Helpful and willing to go out way to make tour holiday memorable. Animation team absolutely the best 👌 👍 😍
