Beautiful hotel with lots to do for families
I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Granada Luxury Belek.
I travelled with my mother, who is a full-time electric wheelchair user and cannot walk. For anyone using an electric wheelchair, access to electricity is not a luxury—it is an essential need.
During our stay, I asked the staff for assistance three separate times, but nobody was willing to help. Instead, I was repeatedly told to "go and find the hotel's electrician yourself." This is completely unacceptable for a hotel that advertises itself as a 5-star luxury resort.
To make matters worse, the power socket in our room is faulty. To keep the kettle plugged in, you have to hold the plug in the socket by hand, which is extremely dangerous and a serious safety hazard.
When I asked what support the hotel could provide, I was simply told, "Nothing." That is not the level of service anyone should expect from a five-star hotel.
I also felt that I was treated differently because I am Iranian. The staff member's attitude was rude and dismissive. However, when I mentioned that I had travelled from the UK, the attitude changed immediately. No guest should ever feel they are treated differently because of their nationality.
I paid around £6,000 for this holiday, expecting a luxury experience and basic accessibility support. Instead, I experienced poor customer service, a lack of empathy, and unsafe room conditions.
I cannot recommend this hotel, especially to anyone travelling with a disabled family member or someone who relies on an electric wheelchair.
In the middle of a two week stay here and having a great time. Hotel is very clean and there is a good choice of food available every night. It is a busy hotel but would expect that at this time of year. Never any problem getting sunbeds by the pool. Daytime entertainment is excellent.
Rooms are great. The airconditioner was broken for two days but at last er got help.
This hotel is probably the best one ive ever visited in turkey. Staff was kind and helpful, pools were clean, room was clean, food was tasty and alot of choices. Beach was great even tho u have to go there with a shuttle bus ( 5min ride) Only downside was that elevators are confusing, because if u go to the wrong one, u have to walk a little bit to your room. The resort is big and has alot of activities. The thing i loved abt this hotel is that it has a sports bar where u can watch football games. We visited in the world cup month and as a football fan i loved the bar! Overall its a 5/5 experience and im definetly returning in the future.
