Set just outside the popular resort town of Belek, Gloria Verde Resort is just a short stroll from Gloria Golf Club with its 45-hole golf courses, and guests can enjoy free shuttle services to and from the links. Rooms are comfortable and spacious with terrace or balcony, air conditioning and wireless internet access. Guests can enjoy healthy, low-calorie dining in the hotel's buffet or a la carte restaurants or a luxurious breakfast in bed with 24-hour room service. The hotel has a wonderful outdoor pool surrounded by carefully landscaped gardens as well as a games room, children's playground and fitness centre and spa. The area has been home to loggerhead sea turtles for thousands of years, and the hotel therefore takes special precautions so as not to disturb this special and endangered species. For golf enthusiasts as well as beach and nature lovers, this hotel offers the ideal retreat for a relaxing and fun-filled holiday.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Just got back from a 9 night stay at GVR. We were a family of 4 adults and one 9 year old. I've been holidaying in Turkey since 2015 and this stay is right up there with the very best hotels We arrived late and checkin was smooth and quick. We went for a chill at the lobby bar and bags were in our room when we got back. The room was the garden room which had 2 separate bedrooms and was spacious enough for the 5 of us. Rooms were cleaned nicely, daily, no complaints there. The hotel itself was immaculate with well maintained gardens throughout. There is a big main restaurant with plenty of room inside and out and food was excellent. We ate at the 2 a la carte restaurants, both were very very good. The French restaurant in particular was fantastic. We booked late at 8.15pm but we were not rushed at all. The food was sensational. We were brought lots of starters we hadn't considered, shrimps and scallops on top of what we had already ordered. This was the same with the dessert. Crepes flambeed at the table. The food was stunning For daytime eating there is a choice of the main restaurant and beach restaurant. In addition there is a Mexican themed restaurant which also barbecues food to order. We ate at the beach and Mexican every day, again food was excellent, some of the best I've had in Turkey. There is also a good choice of bottled beers, Millar Light, Budweiser and Efes. Spirits are branded and cocktails were great. There is plenty of room at the pools and beach and there is a lovely pier. Evening entertainment was good and carried on at the beach bar until late. The staff were exceptionall and couldn't do enough for you. We played darts at the beach bar twice a day and had a ball. Massive thanks to Merve, Margo, Erdem and Fatih who looked after us and were great fun Wouldn't hesitate to book again, and have already been pricing for next year. Prices already look to have gone up though 😩
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Outstanding – Gloria Verde Deserves Every Star!
We’ve just returned from an absolutely fantastic stay at Gloria Verde, and I honestly can’t speak highly enough of this hotel.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely brilliant. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and genuinely couldn’t do enough for you. The level of service throughout the whole hotel was exceptional.
The food was excellent — fantastic quality, loads of choice and something to look forward to every day. A massive mention has to go to the waiters and restaurant staff, who were outstanding. They were attentive, friendly, hardworking and always made sure you had everything you needed. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
The whole hotel is beautifully looked after, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere and incredibly high standards. What really makes Gloria Verde special, though, is the people. Every member of staff we came across helped make our holiday that little bit better.
We’ve stayed in some excellent hotels over the years, and Gloria Verde is right up there with the very best. It’s the sort of place you leave already wanting to come back.
An absolutely brilliant holiday from start to finish. Five stars without hesitation — we would recommend Gloria Verde to anyone. We will definitely be returning in Mat 2027! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was my 10th time staying at this hotel, and playing the Gloria golf courses. Everything was excellent, and the people who work there are very friendly and professional. The food is freshly cooked outdoors, so you can pick what you want and collect it in minutes. There is a choice of bars and restaurants, and the service at all of them is first class. I'd recommend it to anybody.
An expensive stay but totally disappointed. This is not a 5 star hotel resort. We have confirmed a day in advance that a cot will be required in our room because we arrive at 3am in the morning. We got there and had to wait an hour in the morning with a 2 years old for a cot be brought. The room was a superior apartment for which we paid extra. It was facing the delivery ramp and the noise all fay and night was unbearable. We requested the room to be changed and we were given another one that was as noisy as the previous one. The aircon units were running 24/7 and the noise was somewhere round 65-70db. Not ideal for a holiday when you want to relax. The aircon in the room was very noisy faulty when started and stopping. Needs checking and repaired. Also the toilet was running constantly so the noise over night was horrible. The reception staff was very rigid and abrupt not wanting very much to help. Kept pointing at the policies. When you pay that money you want a bit of peace and quiet not to listen to the aircon running all day and night. Good was great, the restaurant is exceptional, great choice of food. Staff at the restaurant very hood and helpful. Not a 5 star hotel, please check before you book. Not recommended at all unless you want to play golf and you’re not bothered about anything else.
On the whole, I would say the Gloria Verde is an excellent resort, the staff are so friendly and everyone has a smile on their face. Check in is not as smooth as other resorts in the area, normally in a 5* hotel you would be seated with a glass of something cold and sparkly with chocolates or macaroons, unfortunately we weren't on this occasion. The pool areas are attractive, with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Although the large pool is really cold, the pool on the upper level is heated and can be around 30 degrees or so. When you first get in it, it is a little like getting into a bath but you soon acclimatise. The slides are great fun and although we didn't use it, there is a really comprehensive kids club on site too. The beach is well maintained, again with plenty of beds and shade and there is a Pier that you can sunbathe on with direct access to the sea from a platform. There is a bar, which unfortunately shuts at 6pm on the dot, not even a second past (as do the other pool bars). We found that you have to ask for snacks of crisps and nuts at all bars, again it's my experience that a hotel of this calibre would bring them to you, or have them on the bar, and let you refuse them rather than to keep having to ask for them and so it lets itself down a bit with things like this. The only other gripe I've got (and I know they're all first world problems) is having to ask for an iron & board every day. I've never stayed in a 5* hotel before that doesn't either have one in the room already or just leaves it with you for the entirety of your stay. I don't go on holiday to stand and iron for an hour, I want to iron as I'm getting ready and so it was really annoying to have to ring and ask housekeeping to bring these every day. When I asked on reception, I was told they don't have enough to leave in the rooms! The entertainment in the Amphitheatre was very good,. The live bands in Neptune's were a bit samey, a DJ wouldn't have gone a miss but after enough Vino, there were a lot of people up dancing :) Now for the best reason to go to this hotel.... the food. We didn't even bother with the Ala Carte restaurants, the main buffet was so good! The choice in the restaurant was outstanding and the cooked to order food on the grill was second to none. As I said at the beginning, "on the whole" I rate this hotel as excellent because I don't want to put it as just "good" I get if people think I've been a bit picky with my gripes but there you go. If you go here, you will have a wonderful time, eat wonderful food and be entertained. Enjoy
