This charming beach hotel was renovated in 2007, and offers guests 367 rooms in total. It provides extensive facilities amidst its own pine forest and beside the Mediterranean coast. The air-conditioned SPA complex welcomes guests to take advantage of the karaoke bar, dance school and disco, as well as all the other on-site facilities provided for a memorable stay. With a range of sports, leisure and SPA options, guests are sure to find something within this modern complex to suit their mood. The hotel also offers a pool area, with two outdoor pools, a heated indoor saltwater pool and a poolside snack bar and sun terrace. Guests may also wish to take part in an aerobics or aqua fit session or choose from a selection of SPA and massage treatments.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We’ve just returned from a week at this beautiful hotel, and overall we had a fabulous stay. The service, food, drinks, cleanliness, gardens, beach and pools were all first class. From the moment we arrived, we felt very well looked after, being greeted with fizz, chocolates, strawberries and Turkish delight. There were a couple of issues with the room set-up on arrival, but these were dealt with promptly and efficiently.
We were also given complimentary fizz and cake to celebrate two birthdays in our party, which was a lovely and much-appreciated touch.
Guest Relations were particularly helpful when our daughter was unwell and we needed to source some medication, and we were very grateful for their assistance.
The spa is incredible, and we had a fabulous private hammam treatment which was a real highlight of the trip.
We also paid €50 each for six beds on the Premium Pier. This was a lovely luxury experience and, for us, worth the price. That said, we did feel that the pricing of some of the other higher-end beds was difficult to justify, particularly as much of the pier appeared to remain empty. Perhaps a slightly different pricing approach could encourage more guests to make use of this beautiful area.
A few areas that could be improved
The main area where we felt the hotel could improve was the evening atmosphere and entertainment. The amphitheatre itself is an excellent venue, but we found that many of the shows felt quite similar. The live music in the lounge area was good, although we would have enjoyed something a little livelier on some evenings.
There also seemed to be quite a lot of club/dance music across some of the other venues, while Insomnia nightclub was virtually empty on the evenings we looked in. Of course, entertainment is very much a matter of personal taste, and we appreciate that the hotel is trying to cater for a wide range of guests. However, for us, the evening offering didn’t quite hit the mark.
We also felt the hotel might be missing an opportunity by not having a more relaxed beachside area open in the evening. We would have loved somewhere around Traces to sit at night, enjoy a drink and listen to some music. It could be a fantastic addition and would make better use of the beautiful beachfront setting after dark.
The communal areas of the hotel are stunning and incredibly relaxing, but perhaps a little too quiet at times. We really appreciated having peaceful spaces to unwind, but in the evenings the hotel occasionally felt as though it lacked a little atmosphere. Striking the right balance between tranquillity and some gentle evening energy could make the experience even better.
We also personally felt that charging for the White Party was a shame, as we decided not to attend because of the additional charge. We would have been more inclined to take part had it been included.
Overall
Despite these points, they are relatively minor compared with the many positives. The hotel is beautiful, the standards of service and cleanliness are excellent, and there are so many lovely touches that made our stay special.
We had a wonderful week and would certainly consider returning. With a few small changes to the evening entertainment, atmosphere and use of the beachfront in the evenings, we think this hotel could be even more exceptional.
Gloria Serenity — the perfect place for a family holiday. The territory is beautiful and well‑maintained, the rooms are excellent, and there is a wide variety of restaurants. The best part is that the service here is excellent. The guest relations team, bartenders, and waiters — everyone is very attentive and caring.
Special thanks to the waiter from the main restaurant Durmus Ali for his attention, care, and personalised approach. Durmus Ali is always attentive to guests and exceptionally polite.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Gloria Serenity Resort. From the beautiful surroundings and excellent food to the outstanding service and attention to detail, everything was truly first class.
A special mention absolutely has to go to DJ Görkem Sen. He was fantastic and really made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. His music selection was excellent, his energy was amazing, and he knew exactly how to create the perfect vibe for the guests. You could really see how much passion he puts into his work.
Görkem is a real asset to the resort and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. His music and positive energy made our evenings unforgettable.
Overall, a fantastic resort with exceptional service, and we would happily come back again. Highly recommended!
This is the 15th time we have stayed at the Gloria Serenity and it was excellent, as always. So good to see some of the staff, who have been working there for many years and are always so friendly and helpful. Also, the recent building additions and refurbishments have made it even better than it was. We have never stayed at a better all round hotel resort. Our only problem is that you introduced surcharges a couple of years ago for the al la carte restaurants, when there had previously been no extra charges at the hotel. We ate at the French restaurant twice and it was very good but thought the surcharge of 75 euros per person for the Japanese restaurant was too expensive, even though we really like Japanese food!
Second time at the Gloria Serenity and everything is first class. From the minute you arrive until you depart the whole experience is brilliant. The villa is great family accommodation and everything provided for. The restaurants are varied and prepare lovely food and wines. Plenty pool facilities and surrounding bars. I also have to say the staff are so attentive and know how to deliver 5 star customer service. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
