Belconti Resort Hotel

We stayed at Belconti Resort Hotel and, overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel: the food was very good, the staff were generally friendly, and the facilities and service were at a good standard.

Unfortunately, our experience was seriously affected by a very disturbing security incident.

During our stay, €1,500 in cash was stolen from our room (Room 4113). We noticed the missing money after an approximate period between 15:00 and 20:00 and immediately reported the incident to the reception.

The police were called to the hotel. However, despite the seriousness of the situation, no official written report was provided to us by either the hotel or the police, we were not asked to sign a statement, and the police did not come to our room to conduct a proper examination l.

We repeatedly requested that the incident be officially registered and that the relevant evidence be preserved, including:

• CCTV footage from our floor and corridor;
• CCTV footage from the elevators and hotel entrances/exits;
• CCTV coverage of the area behind the room/balcony-there is none.
• electronic key-card access logs for Room 4113;
• records of hotel employees who entered the room;
• housekeeping and maintenance records.

Unfortunately, the people involved in handling our complaint (Duty Manager and Front Desk) did not provide us with a written acknowledgement or an incident/reference number.

Even more concerning, I was told that I would not be able to leave Turkey if I continued insisting on making an official complaint. I found this extremely disturbing and inappropriate.

We eventually left the hotel at 04:56 AM, without receiving an official written report or reference number.

I want to emphasize that we had a good impression of Belconti before this incident. The food, facilities and most of the staff were good. However, when your money disappears from a guest's room, what matters most is how the hotel handles the situation afterwards.

For a 5-star resort, I expected a much more professional and transparent response.

I am sharing this experience so that future guests are aware and, most importantly, take appropriate precautions with valuables and insist on proper documentation if a similar incident occurs.

I sincerely hope Belconti Resort Hotel investigates this matter properly and provides an explanation regarding what happened to our money.

We fell in love with the Belconti Hotel all over again this summer. It is our sixth (!) visit, and each year, this hotel keeps blossoming, getting better and better. Once again, we’re leaving with a heart full of incredible memories and gratitude for such an unforgettable holiday!

What we would like to mention:

1. A unique garden and nature

What makes Belconti so special? It’s a garden hotel! This year, we noticed even more signs and stands detailing the trees and plants around the hotel, giving the feeling that you’re walking through a botanical garden. Every corner of the property is immersed in greenery, and walking through the hotel grounds is pure magic. It’s like living in the heart of a garden, and it’s simply unforgettable. This is not just a hotel; it’s a place where nature and comfort merge into one.

2. Infrastructure and updates

The hotel has continued to grow year by year, and the changes are evident everywhere. For the last two years all the sunbeds by the pool and on the beach have been replaced with new ones, and there are now more of them. The hotel grounds have been redesigned with a unified stylish, nature-inspired look – from the beach to the toilets. And that's not all – the restaurant has expanded its offerings, and the bar is now even more diverse, with imported drinks like Aperol and wines. Not to mention, everything is absolutely delicious.

3. Professionalism and attention to every guest

A special thank you goes to the dedicated, high-level staff that makes every stay exceptional. It’s one thing to have “staff,” and another to have true professionals who greet you with a smile and treat you like family. Anna in guest relations, fitness studio leaders, Mete and Darina in the photo zone and, of course, Zarife at reception! These are the people who make your stay unforgettable. Thank you all for your care, attention and positive energy! They are not just employees; they are experts who become more responsive and welcoming with every next year. We come back here year after year because we know these amazing people will be here to create a true atmosphere of warmth and hospitality.

4. The hotel continues to surprise!

It’s clear that Belconti is actively investing in its future, and with each passing year, it just keeps getting better. In six years, we’ve seen so many positive changes, and it’s truly exciting to witness. Belconti is a place that brings new experiences, new comforts, and more opportunities for relaxation every year.

Most importantly, the hotel maintains its unique charm. It remains a garden hotel, filled with greenery and harmony at every turn. We’ll keep coming back because this hotel has become more than just a place to stay, it’s become a home for us. Thank you, Belconti, for unforgettable moments!
