Wouldn’t say this is a 4*. We had all inclusive plus which made a big difference. Staff are all amazing throughout. The rooms weren’t good, very run down, sofa beds were awful and it was very noisy. Lots of people in surrounding rooms scraping furniture around at all hours. Bathroom smells of sewage. Hot water runs out in the shower. The sunbed situation was very odd, everyone leaves towels out every day/night. If you don’t do this with everyone else, then you won’t get sunbeds together every day. The food was ok, not amazing. Pools were good.

This hotel is definitely not a 4* hotel. From our arrival the hotel looked abandoned, the sign above the hotel had been half way removed to make way for the name change. The staff were all very nice but quite obviously rushed off of their feet with lots to do. I do believe that the hotel has recently been taken over by a new company but to be honest the hotel needs closing and revamping. We had major safety concerns upon entering our room. The door did not lock properly meaning that we had to sleep with a large suitcase up against the door. The balcony door also did not lock, this was very concerning especially as we were 3 floors up and had two small children with us. The hotel did offer us another room however when we looked around it was the same only was 5 floors up! The beds were uncomfortable, moving around at the slightest movement and the sofa bed in particular was dirty. On day 5 of our holiday the sofa bed slates broke meaning our daughter fell. The hotel itself has broken tiles everywhere which were trip hazards. The pools were fine, but unfortunately the slide was closed for 7 days of our 10 day holiday.

What a great hotel! I had read some really negative reviews before we arrived and was expecting a disastrous experience, but was pleasantly proved wrong. Upon arrival, the front of the hotel can look a little shabby in places (but only minor things like a patchy bit of paintwork and the hotel name definitely needs a tidy up). The rest of it is decorated in an almost art deco funky style which works really well. The staff are all really helpful and friendly, from the cleaners, gardeners, waiters, reception staff, but especially the animation team. We travelled with 3 children (2x9 and 1x3yr old), who all had fun at the mini disco, kids club, the playground and the pools. The variety, supply and cooking of the food was amazing and definitely pleased the most picky of our family. Safe to say, none of us went hungry and we more than over indulged on everything on offer. The pools are great and there are enough sunbeds - we were advised by another guest to keep our towels on the same beds for our whole holiday and found this worked, mother majority of the guests did the same. The hotel is handily located nearby a superdino shop, the beach, bus stop and little souvenir shops that were all reasonably priced. What started as a 'what have we booked' very quickly turned into a 'we will definitely come here again' hotel. A big thank you to Carlos who waiters in the restaurant who went out his way to come and see us every meal time and made a big fuss of the kids. My only negative note which is easily fixed, is that if you have a room near the entertainment stage, it can get quite loud, although only until 11pm. A pair of ear plugs soon dampened the sound and we all slept really really well.
