Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have just returned from an amazing week at Ohasis Boutique Suites and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better holiday.
From the moment we arrived, all of the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The apartments were modern, spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing family break.
A special thank you to the hotel for making our son’s birthday so memorable. We had mentioned it before our arrival, and they surprised him with a birthday card and some delicious pastries waiting in our room. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made his day extra special.
The location was perfect for us. Although the hotel is in a peaceful setting, it’s only around a five-minute walk to plenty of restaurants and bars. We especially enjoyed The Attic in the Pasarela Centre, which had a fantastic atmosphere, and there is a children’s play area directly opposite, making it a great place to relax while the kids played.
The pool area was lovely, it did get quite busy at time but we still managed to get beds each morning. The whole hotel had a calm, relaxing atmosphere.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already been looking at booking another holiday here. That’s probably the biggest compliment we can give. We’d happily recommend Ohasis Boutique Suites to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly hotel in Los Cristianos.

I’d think twice before booking here with family. Leaving aside the wider area water outage during our stay, there were plenty of basic issues with the complex itself. First off, accessibility is a proper slog. There were 75 steps just to reach our apartment block, which is exhausting with luggage and young kids. The main swimming pool is also far too small for the number of guests packed into the complex. The room setup was also poor. The only air conditioning unit is in the living room—the bedroom doesn't have one. To make matters worse, we arrived late at night to find the living room sofa bed completely broken, meaning the kids had to sleep on a mattress pulled onto the floor just to stay cool in the air con. When the hotel finally brought a replacement bed, the folding mechanism had a sharp, exposed metal edge that sliced my toe open and left blood on the floor.
Bar and restaurant staff however were fantastic.
Booked here for 1 night in September 2026 before moving on to our regular hotel.
It is one of the first hotels on the hill down into Los Christianos with a good amount of parking on the streets outside.
We arrived in the evening and after checking in online had a smooth process with reception and were soon in our junior suite.
Now I was quite dubious after reading some reviews on here but this place is rather modern with good sized, well equipped apartments.
Air-conditioning is in the main room with fans around the apartment. We always leave the air-conditioning on at this time of year while we are out and left the doors open to the bedroom to cool the whole apartment down. ANY card will operate the electric in your room so you dont need to worry about the room card.
We stayed at the hotel for drinks after dark and these were typically priced for Tenerife.
The staff were friendly and it does help to say 'Ola' or Buenas Dias when you see them as they are not that scary! They all smile and say hello back.
The breakfast was a good variety of the usuals. Cereal and toast, fruit and yoghurts, pastries, omelettes made to order, pancakes, eggs, and a cooked section (which wasn't great to be frank).
We paid around €130 for the apartment for 1 night. Also worth noting there is a €100 returnable deposit on checking out.
This place is for the able bodied with a few stairs as it is built on the hill. So it won't be any use for those with a walking disability. Also it is a bit of a distance to the town centre.
The pool is a good size but I think the sunbed area is a little small. However we weren't here at school holiday time, so it wasn't that busy.
I believe this hotel is better targeted for couples and adults as the kids facilities are not that great.
We would definitely stay here again, it was very nice for our one night stay. There was some building noise coming from somewhere in the day hours, not sure how long this would last or if I would have wanted to hear it every day on my holiday and as the property is next to the road you can enjoy traffic noise all day long when outdoors. Nothing can be heard indoors when all windows are closed.

This place is absolutely amazing for the price. This is our second time here. Friendly staff. Really clean. People say about the hill but honestly its not to bad unless you are in your 90s
On the whole we enjoyed our stay at these apartments/hotel however there are a few things which spoiled our holiday and others should make note of before booking. First of all it is advertised as a family resort and yet I would say it should be adults only given that when our children wanted to play in the small pool with a tiny ball they were told off by the lifeguard on duty. Throughout our stay it became clear children were not allowed to play at all and people were even told off for sitting on the step near the pool. There is simply nothing for children to do due to the size and limitations that are imposed on them at this resort and in immense heat where are children supposed to go and have fun.
Secondly we struggled with a strong smell of sewage which was coming through the cupboard into the bin area. Cleaning was sporadic and didn’t seem to follow a set pattern which is poor given that it is self catering and therefore food bins should be emptied daily particularly as we found out they had a problem with cockroaches!! First found in the bedroom and then the sink. After profuse complaints about the smell and uninvited roaches- we were moved which was a welcomed relief. I did complain about the lack of cleaning and this did seem to improve but there were occasions when I had to take my own bins out as they were overflowing with both food waste and recycling. This said- The staff were polite and the bar staff were super friendly and helpful. My son ate lunch at the pool bar most days and really enjoyed it. The breakfast laid on for half board looked delicious with a range of food on offer however we did not eat at the hotel at all. Locally there are a few restaurants and bars although for me the bars in Playa were far superior.
