We booked here as a last minute family break. At first when we read reviews we wondered had we done the right thing. But oh my god we totally did the right thing. Absolutely loved this place. I don’t understand where the bad reviews are coming from? The entertainment every single day was class. At 45 i experienced my first foam party. Then Eddie, oh Eddie, you’re an amazing person. The care and attention you give to everyone is superb. Not to mention the wee baby who fell. Thank you all so so much. We love you xx
Definitely not a 4 star place to stay . The most I would rate it would be 2 star It has very basic facilities for self catering. It wasn’t very clean and when the cleaners went in there was black hair all over the floor which I cleaned up . The bathroom door wouldn’t shut ,the shower door was just about hanging on and there was rust all along the bath . The patio table was broken which you could catch yourself on . The skirting board was hanging off outside the bathroom door . The reception staff were really rude but they probably learnt that off the manager as she was patronising and extremely rude .The staff on the weekend were totally different very helpful. They have 3 pools the big one was extremely busy but they other2 were really nice and the lifeguard in pool 3 was brilliant. They don’t have a room for putting suitcases in you have to put 2 euros in a locker which all the bottom ones don’t work but they don’t tell you so you lose your money and they don’t give you your money back ,they are aware of it as the receptionist told us . The place is at the top of a very steep hill so taxis back from the beach are essential I would never recommend a stay here
Stayed for 12 nights, room had so many issues, broken hairdryer, broken shower doors and shower head, loose electric fittings, broken lock on patio doors, holes in curtains, broken curtain rack/hooks in lounge and bedroom, room not cleaned properly just bed made and two towels left
Got too hotel was lovely rooms very big with everything you need for self catering holiday and balcony had table six chairs sun loungers sun trap , on our fifth night myself husband and son got locked up for night balcony locked from inside and room door only to wake up at 6 am in morning too balcony door open and my purse been emptied off 500 euros and my sons wallet emptied aswell this isn’t about the money it’s the fact we were all asleep in our room and someone has had the audacity to enter our room and steal from us , I hate to think what could off happened if we had woken up too the intruder in our room ,went to reception to report to be told to come back too speak to public relations which we did to be told it wasn’t their fault and they couldn’t do anything while we were at reception an elderly lady entered reception visibly shaken only to find out she had been robbed aswell they had emptied her purse when we mentioned this to the public relations lady her response was it was only 50 euros safe too say I would not go too this hotel again due to the staffs lack off concern for their guests and what is happening in their hotel don’t think this is an isolated incident no cameras anywhere apart from their shop and reception and they have been advised buy police too install cameras due too the thefts
I love the whole vibe and think it’s a great place to be. We’ve been coming here for year but recently it’s being let down by the animation team and seemingly budget props. The team also lack some enthusiasm, most notably aqua gym was embarrassing. They need some more experience and more budget, darts was crap with little darts that can’t even stick to the board. The magic carpet was actually pretty dangerous and one guy dislocated his arm. If they had better props this wouldn’t happen. They used to have a proper inflatable to do it. Other than the animation teams poor performance I do love it at the Hollywood mirage, although I prefer that it not be budget as some of the guests treat it as such.
