We came to surprise some friends who are staying here and all I can say is it's a big disappointment... The rooms are very dated, the fan doesn't work properly, the pool is dirty and the sunbed wars in a morning are pathetic, there simply isn't enough beds for the size of the hotel. In 10 nights we managed to get one afternoon around our own pool, the rest of the time we went to the hotel my parents are staying in. Avoid this one at all costs, you can get much better for the money elsewhere.
Good reasonable price hotel, rooms were cleaned every day, pool and area was spotless, short walk to restaurants and bars one way and about 10 minute downhill walk to the front! The only downside was the sunbed wars, people getting up so early to put towels on stacked sunbeds and then waiting until 9.45 to retrieve them was ridiculous, we came a baby and you had to tie a towel round a brolly just to make sure you had one, to keep in the shade! think the hotel could do with more organised!
Firstly if your an older couple or can not lift your suitcase up, have a pram and on your own with suitcases, this isn’t the hotel for you there isn’t any lifts, so you have to carry your suitcase up the stairs to the located rooms.
Second the rooms are nothing like the pictures on the jet2 or anywhere advertised they are very dated,
3rd are you ready for this the sunbed wars yep sunbed wars, the sunbeds are chained up so stacked on top of each other like six at a time, you have to get up between 2am and 4am ( no joke ) to try and get your sun lounger so place the towel in the gaps but you’ll see, take a T-shirt down with you also to tie around an umbrella there is only a limited amount, otherwise your not getting a sunlounger or an umbrella, here is the next part the sunbeds are unlocked at 10am and ones at 11am they have a notice on, you need to down by 9.30 otherwise your towels is gone, people start coming and sitting at 9am to keep there spaces it’s like putting a shift in at work ! No point in moaning about the towel situation reception do not care at all, and if you can’t beat them then you might as well join them, but unlocking at ten is also a joke some people like to come down sit early cup of tea and a swim no kids want to wait until 10am !!
Safe you pay £26 euro for the weeks
A fan is £100 euro ( buy your own of shein or somewhere a wireless one)
Shop is cheap and cheerful, and over the road next to the red supermarket ( on the right as your walk out over the road ) there is a little supermarket ( shop more like) that do unreal baguettes.
There is a washing machine in the hotel ground very cheap to use and Spanish washing power unreal, done the washing before we’re coming home sages doing it at home.
Chicago restaurant very over rated, didn’t find any nice restaurants near here, Dylan’s bar great atmosphere near Chicago, places on the beach to eat are much nicer one called players English run and food is unbelievable.
Get the bus to costa adeje £1 euro or a taxi is £12 bus there taxi back all the bars and restaurants down the beach so worth it bars stay open until 3pm this end the end the hotel is 12pm to 1pm ( in fact if you have not booked the holiday stay in Costa adeje you won’t be disappointed,
Costa adeje beach not the best beds for 5 people was £45 but the jet skis, all water sports is this end only we had a ball this end.
los cristianos and las americas Beach are next to each other find las americas so much nicer but it’s literally a walk away from each other.
Siam park day and night well worth the tickets also gets cold in the night so just be aware of that in the water park.
Would I come back this hotel no, we have been in better pool is the only nice bit, but there isn’t any music not even low in the back ground, would I go and stay in Costa adeje definitely.
We’re still here and it’s very very hot, even when it’s cloudy you will get burnt.
Hope this helps a family.
Still at the hotel at the time of writing this.
Had an awful experience with reception on arrival due to jet2 not updating our booking info and that was taken out on me and my friend( two young women), we were shouted at by the receptionist and made to wait an additional hour late at night before we were eventually given a room. Which was dated and dirty, the air conditioning might as well have not been there as it did nothing. The sunbed wars were beyond pathetic with people reserving whole stacks of sunbeds but not actually arriving to make use of them. Would not recommend especially for younger people
Don’t. Go. To. This. Hotel.
Me and my friends checked in, the receptionist spoke no English and didn’t tell us where our room was. We had to locate it ourselves only to find there was no lifts. So we hauled up our suitcases at 1 in the morning with ZERO help, And that’s just day 1
The fans were noisy and barely worked , the bathroom was dirty and the kitchen was unusable. The fan also broke on day 5, and we had to profusely complain to get a different room which was still boiling. There was no utensils so it wasn’t exactly self catering. The staff were unhelpful and the service was nothing short of appalling. The cleaners at one point refused to clean our room.
If you’re looking to sunbathe , this isn’t the place for you. The sun bed wars are ridiculous and there’s not a moment of silence the whole entire stay.
The cleaners are also very nosy there is no sense of privacy , they peak through the windows at all times. My friend was sleeping on the couch and they were watching her sleep..
We’re not sure how we survived this but we hope after reading this you won’t have to.
