We have just returned from our weeks stay at the Arona Gran and it was fabulous! We booked through Easyjet holidays as the flight times were good, we had an upgraded room and the price was cheaper than TUI or Jet 2. The hotel is 1st class, everything about it, the food, accomodation, staff and cleanliness. Never a problem getting a sunbed however the lifeguard came round each morning and removed towels from unoccupied beds at 9am. The entertainment was a slight negative so we walked inlo Los Cristianos or Las Americas. Special thanks to our superb waiter Ernesto on the outdoor area of restaurant! We will certainly return
Once again the Arona Gran didn’t disappoint. Our 6th time here and will be back next year. Any issues were resolved immediately. Our room wasn’t what we had paid for and was changed immediately after arrival. Welcome and reception excellent and quick to check in. Room clean and spacious and housekeeper was lovely. All areas in hotel were spotless. The pool area wasn’t always clean around sunbeds and for 6th year running a lot of the sun umbrellas were broken and dirty but a lot looked as if they had been replaced. Plenty of sunbeds and pool attendant was round between 9 and 10 to remove towels if no one there. Pool was clean. Food was excellent but sometimes cold eg bacon on a morning and chips on a night. The choice of food was exceptional. The waiters never stopped. Entertainment was excellent especially the tribute acts. Daily activities with Virginia and Miguel were great and a laugh. They always gave 100%. Would recommend this hotel especially for the over 60’s as you were always respected by all. Keep up the good work and see you next year
I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. 5 ladies in their 70s on a relaxing break. The decor is outstanding, the rooms extremely spacious and comfortable, furnished to a high standard. I think they all have a sea view and spacious balcony. We enjoyed the daytime quizzes, bingo aquasize, pilates and Yoga. The pool was so relaxing with plenty of loungers. The food was very good. I'm vegetarian and quite fussy but always found plenty of choice. The evening entertainment was very good and being for adults only suited us perfectly. No kiddies disco! All of the staff were very hard working and friendly without exception. Definitely will be back.
Second time here enjoyed it just as much has the first time. We will be back next year
We had a fabulous holiday based at the Arona Gran Hotel. Beautiful side sea view in our room and blissful breakfasts ! We had dinner in the evening in the many fab restaurants in Los Christianos which is a short 10 minute walk . Loved the hotel Aqua aerobics, swimming and beautiful evenings drinks with grand piano musical tunes! Plus check out luxury ‘Up bar ‘ experience - amazing! Will definitely return .
