The quaint resort of Colonia de Sant Jordi or Port de Campos as it is sometimes referred to is a short 15 minute drive away and provides a wide range of top-class restaurants, laid-back bars and elegant boutiques, as well as a smattering of tiny coves, beaches and harbours.
This well-equipped hotel offers a fantastic array of facilities including an outdoor swimming pool with excellent views out to sea, a separate pool for children, a tennis court, basketball court and billiards room. Dining facilities include a buffet restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean, a fully stocked bar, and nightly entertainment.
Bright and airy rooms feature flat-screen TVs, telephone, bathrooms, Wi-Fi (at a fee) and a furnished balcony or terrace with excellent views of the sea or surrounding countryside.

Fabulous location in a quiet area of Majorca. Very quiet and relaxed with enough to do in the hotel or walking into the harbour about a 40 min walk around the headland or a shorter route through the streets of the town. The hotel sits right on the beach and is very safe for little ones or for the older ones diving in from the rocks. Every level of staffing was excellent nothing too much bother. If you want to go further afield you need two bus journeys but well worth a trip to Santany the next resort along.
I went for the 1st time in June. Very random choice I had never been before .I struck gold so much so that I've just been back for a week .hotel beautiful staff amazing food plenty of choice and delicious. I will definitely once again be going back
absolute belter! unbelievable location, food, service, rooms, atmosphere. i would without a doubt return in a heartbeat. me and my girlfriend have stayed here for a week and both feel they met every need and everything was delivered to the highest standard. the reception staff were very welcoming and incredibly helpful with anything we needed, see you next year for definite!
Arrived late at night and was greeted by the nicest man on reception who got us checked in and and showed us to our room he then asked if we were hungry and to come down to the restaurant and he would get us something to eat and drink which was very nice of him. Rooms are very nice complementary toiletries where lovely balcony large great view. We where all inclusive and can honestly say the food was amazing huge choice breakfast you could get hot and made while you waited it was so nice lunch and dinner again huge choice and all very fresh again could get freshly made meat and fish while you waited was very impressive at the amount of choice there was and all excellent. Drinks large choice and all very nice bar and restaurant staff very nice even grumpy Jose Carlos cracked a smile occasionally lol Mohammed,Jacqueline,Jaime all greet staff and very helpful couldn’t do enough for the quests the management team a male and a female (didn’t get there names) greeted guests every night at evening meal made sure everyone was being attended to even seen them cleaning tables were extremely nice and never passed without asking if you where alright. Entertainment was absolutely brilliant singer every night and they where all brilliant. Before we arrived I seen some no very good reviews but I can honestly say they were totally wrong this is probably one of the best hotels I have ever been too. Beautiful setting lovely walks. Reception staff very helpful nothing to much trouble day of leaving checked out 12pm but flight was later they gave us bands to still use restaurant and bar was a nice touch. Overall I honestly can’t find anything to complain about definitely would come back
Universal Romantica has a good location, right next to some lovely beaches and with good transport links. Our room was clean, with nice views and a good bathroom, and the food was generally pretty good with a decent variety.
However, the room photos gave us a misleading impression of the space. We paid for a suite specifically so our son could play with his toys before bed, but the room we received was much smaller than the one pictured and had very little space for him to play. It appears only a few rooms match the spacious ones shown, so I would recommend checking exactly what you are booking.
The main pool and children’s pool were reasonably sized for our visit in late September/early October, when the hotel wasn’t particularly busy. I suspect getting a sunbed would be much more difficult during peak season.
Breakfast and lunch were served within quite short windows, with very little available between meals. The only snack we found at the bar was a stale sandwich, so you really need to plan around the meal times.
The all-inclusive drinks offering was also disappointing. Many cocktails were excluded or carried extra charges, including different flavours of a daiquiri. It was much more restrictive than we have experienced at other all-inclusive hotels.
Our biggest frustration was the departure day. We arrived at lunchtime on Monday and were told that, because we had lunch that day, we couldn’t have lunch on the following Sunday, despite our flight not leaving until 10pm. This restriction hadn’t been made clear to us, and we were told lunch would be refused before we had even checked out. We had chosen a late flight expecting to enjoy our final day, but instead spent much of it waiting around.
There are some positives here, but the room size and restrictions on the all-inclusive package left us feeling disappointed and that we hadn’t received good value for money.
