This wonderful beach hotel is located in the bustling tourist centre of Playa Blanca. The hotel is located a mere 300 metres away from the nearest pebble beach, while the Timanfaya volcano, Janubio salt works, Ajaches Nature Park and the renowned Papagayo beaches are to be found in close proximity. Guests can relax and unwind in perfect rapture amidst the intrinsic beauty of the surroundings. This charming hotel welcomes visitors with warm hospitality and excellent service. The guest rooms are tastefully decorated, inviting guests into a cocoon of peace and serenity in which to enjoy restful slumber at the end of the day. Guests can avail of the excellent leisure facilities the hotel affords, and can enjoy an energetic game of tennis or an invigorating workout in the gym, followed by a refreshing swim in the pool.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
At this time I am in room 404 at the Mirador and just to put the minds at rest of the peaple who are thinking of booking here but unsure of the Negative comments, so I am a fully trained Chef through Cunard and with my wife we ran a Hotel very successfully on the IOW for thirty years and we cannot understand the Negative comments about the Mirador HOTEL., our room is spotless and the whole Hotel is not only clean but maintained to a high standard, food wise I love fish and so far I have had fresh grilled Tuna- Salmon - Prawns and Mussels, my wife is a meat eater and so far she has enjoyed fresh cooked Duck pork and chicken kebabs veal escalopes etc etc ,the staff from Reception to Bar and restaurant could not be more professional or approachable. So don't be put off the Mirador you will love it.
2 downsides didn't like that when you come out of restaurant people smoking right outside the door and people smoking all around the pools even with children around not nice 2nd wasn't told there would be work going on from Mon till yesterday drilling and banging on upper sunbed level to the point had to go back in room this was by the junior suites very noisy at one point didn't come on holiday for that plus sides food was lovely breakfast amazin lunch by pool bar burger hot dogs chips pasta fish ,salad lovely n fresh puddings drink on tap if all inclusive privilege bar for junior suites lovely room with free sandwiches cakes coffee larger soft drinks all free and room was so cool between 11am 6 pm junior suites wow what a view totally amazing staff lovely animation team so good they did darts archery water fit ball games also theres table tennis pool tables inside and out piano man amazing walk was 15 min to marina markets good sat and wed 10 till 2 would def come back if no works being done
This hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel but it most definitely is not. The food there was the worst food I have ever experienced on any holiday. It was appalling! Repetitive and what can only be described as worse that school dinners.
Thoroughly enjoyable holiday in an immaculate hotel. The food is the best and most varied I’ve experienced in an all inclusive so I’m not sure why people post negative reviews about it. Would definitely recommend this hotel to all.
I stayed at the Mirador Papagayo hotel in Lanzarote for a week at the end of September with my Niece & Great Niece. After reading some of the reviews i was a little concerned, but i had no need to be. The hotel was great, we went all inclusive in a junior suite which had a balcony with a fantastic sea view & also gave us access to the privilege lounge. The room itself was wonderful, very spacious with a fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, a walk in wardrobe with a safe & the room was cleaned & the beds sorted & clean towels replaced every day. We were also in a perfect spot, close to the main pool, the restaurant & the spa. My Niece & i did visit the spa which was well worth the 20 euros we paid each. My Great Niece who is 6 really enjoyed the kids club & the mini disco which was on every night before the adult entertainment. She also liked the kids pool & especially the limitless ice cream which was included in the all inclusive. The drinks included were fine & there was even low alcohol prosecco & bloody marys at breakfast if you so wished. As for the food, Breakfast was amazing, but i cant really fault the dinners either. Some of it was the same day in day out, but there was so much to choose from that it was never a problem. I have to give a special mention to Michael who was part of the entertainment team, he seemed to be there constantly doing something or other & he was hilarious. I highly recommend this hotel & should i go back to Lanzarote in the future would certainly not rule this hotel out. Thank You. x
