My sister and I have just returned from our second stay at this fantastic hotel in Lanzarote, and we honestly can’t recommend it enough! We loved our morning walks to the marina for a coffee, followed by a full day of activities back at the hotel.
There is SO much to do — rifle shooting, archery, crazy games, bingo, aqua aerobics and so much more. The entertainment team were absolutely amazing and did such a brilliant job getting everyone involved and keeping the atmosphere fun throughout the day. 🎯🏹💦🎉
A special thank you to Zac & Rami, who were absolutely brilliant and genuinely the best aerobics instructors ever! ❤️ Their energy, enthusiasm and sense of fun were infectious. The aqua aerobics is an absolute MUST! 😂💦

Just back from a fantastic stay with my sister. It’s a great hotel with a lovely atmosphere and a fantastic variety of food, with plenty of choice to suit everyone.
Location was good, we walked every morning to the marina which is a 20 minute walk along the coast.
There was also a brilliant range of activities organised by the entertainment team, including archery, air rifle shooting, aqua aerobics, water polo and lots of crazy and fun games throughout the day. There was always something going on if you wanted to get involved.
A special mention has to go to Zac and Rami from the entertainment team, who were absolutely fantastic - born entertainers! They were so friendly, enthusiastic and approachable, and really made an effort to get everyone involved and having fun. Their energy and personality definitely helped make our holiday extra special.
Overall, we had a brilliant time at Sandos Papagayo and have already booked for next year. Highly recommended!
We stayed at Sandos Papagayo in Lanzarote and had an absolutely wonderful time. The hotel’s location is breathtaking, with incredible views and a charming little terrace in our room that was just perfect for us. We had a beautiful sea view and the room was really lovely. The food was also a highlight: there was a lot of variety at every buffet and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Christian, one of the Italian animators, was absolutely fantastic and made our stay really special. He was so kind and attentive, and even though our daughter was too young for the mini club, he made sure she felt included in the evening dances. We also noticed that on the day he wasn’t feeling well, the tournaments didn’t happen, which shows just how important he is to the team. We highly recommend him—he really made our holiday memorable!
Loved this hotel , arrived after midnight checked in very quickly and told the pool bar restaurant was open 24 hours to get something to eat and drink . The room was very clean and spacious we didn't have a pool view but it didn't matter as we hardly spent any time on the balcony and it was obviously cheaper than a seaview room The safe is free and pool towels which was a nice surprise for us we usually have to pay elsewhere . The food was great , lovely variety , and if it wasn't warm enough there's a microwave there to heat it up . Entertainment was good day and night but the outside terrace with one toilet is clearly not enough for the crowds and there wasn't enough staff so the queues were long . During the day drinks were served in a paper cup which was useless had to double and sometimes triple the cups to stop them leaking , use the plastic ones like you do at night please . Apart from that wee niggle we had a fabulous holiday spent round the pools very relaxing and we will go back .. thank you
Very large hotel made up of different blocks. We had a Seaview room with a lovely view. Check in was quick and efficient. We had upgraded to RE which we were very pleased with and glad that we did as the restaurant was quite chaotic at times. Thought it was very under staffed and tables were left with dirty plates as staff tried their best to keep up. Also lots of food under tables which I dont blame staff for as if my child dropped food I would clean it up myself but unfortunately not everyone did.
Pool areas weren't cleaned properly as we saw same rubbish on floors and under sunbeds for a day or 2 .
Daily room cleaning was very basic and we had to ask for replacement coffee etc which should have been replenished every day but wasn't.
Entertainment was good and all staff in the hotel were very friendly.
Despite my comments we had a good holiday but the hotel in places was looking tired which was a shame.
