This sophisticated resort is located on the south of the island of Lanzarote, in front of the sea and only 10 kilometres from Timanfaya National Park and around 900 metres from the picturesque fishing village of Playa Blanca. The hotel was designed as a typical village of Lanzarote, with romantic courtyards and traditional spots. In fact, the entrance is a replica of Teguise's church, Our Lady of Guadalupe. This hotel stands out for its singular architecture and its refined service, thus becoming an icon of high-end tourism. All rooms have a living room with a sofa as well as a complete range of features, such as a pillow and sheet menu as well as a private en-suite bathroom with exclusive toiletries.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages and body treatments. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 3 outdoor swimming pools, a sauna and a 24-hour fitness centre. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, a hair salon and wedding services.
This was our second stay at the Volcán, this time once again in the Club Adults Only area, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We booked directly with the hotel and made a few polite requests before our arrival, all of which were kindly accommodated.
Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The staff are warm, friendly, and always willing to help, making you feel genuinely welcome throughout your stay. The rooms are spacious and immaculate, the location is perfect, and the food is outstanding.
The Club Adults Only experience is well worth it. Afternoon tea is a real treat, breakfast offers an incredible selection, and the open bar serves an excellent range of premium branded drinks. A special mention also goes to the delicious cocktails at the poolside bar, they were among the best we’ve had.
The high standards of service, cleanliness, and attention to detail make this a truly five-star experience. We had another fantastic stay and are already looking forward to returning again very soon.
Excellent hotel .....great facilities .....friendly helpful staff....Nothing too much trouble . Good atmosphere ....large number of guests but does not feel crowded.Very well designed with plenty of different areas to enjoy . Decoration very contemporary in the general areas . Entrance via chapel ..amazing with Gregorian chant playing ....relaxing way to start your visit.
I’m here right now with my teenage daughter and having the best time. Upgraded to a suite as a treat - been having treatment for stage four cancer so figured I’m worth it - and it’s just lovely. We were here previously in August 2022 and loved it so very happy to return. Some things have changed - the place looks better cared for and I appreciate the small but important touches like the water station. Really glad to be here and I hope to be back again.
Just returned from a 9 night stay at this beautiful hotel and wasn’t disappointed. The church entrance to the hotel is a beautiful feature and the reception area is breathtaking.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had a pool view room which was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The toiletries were of good quality and Rituals brand. There was a fridge in the room and tea/coffee facilities. We also requested an iron and ironing board free of charge to the room.
We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, plenty of choice and good quality.
Considering it was school holidays there were always loungers available, hardly anyone reserving loungers with towels. Pool towels provided and you could change these as many times as you liked. We also had use of spa once during stay free of charge.
There was good quality entertainment in the evening but it only lasted about 90minutes then it stopped.
The daytime entertainment was also excellent especially the jewellery making class, we got to keep the handmade glass pendant necklace as a souvenir.
Fantastic location, marina with shops and restaurants directly on doorstep.
We will definitely return to this hotel.
The only advice I would give would be to add a towel rail to the balcony/outdoor area to hang/dry towels/clothing, and also some background music to the pool area in the day.
Other than this, I could not fault the service. Thanks for a lovely stay
What an amazing hotel!
From the grand entrance to the cleanliness, friendly staff and spacious rooms.
We chose to book the club which didn’t disappoint albeit we did prefer the buffet breakfast, but nothing else could be faulted.
The only negative would be the lobby bar which we struggled to find and seemed to be a more pop up bar rather than somewhere to relax/cool down throughout the day as with the lower ‘pub’ style bar which only opened later in the evening when entertainment was on.
For anyone staying the rituals provided in the room are shampoo & conditioner not shower gel. If you like nuts and olives be prepared for lots with every drink ordered.
Gorgeous quiet and relaxing hotel and with the marina on the doorstep would highly recommend.
