We did star prestige, separate block for adults only, lounge with drinks and snacks, mini bar, close to flamingo beach….and playa Blanca, would go again, only pain is parking, there is a small car park at front of hotel, most people park on the road
Had a fantastic time at the iberostar. Stayed all inclusive as a family of 7 and we definitely got our money's worth. The hotel is lovely and clean and welcoming (except for the bar with the pool table which has a decidedly odd smell!!!) The food was fantastic, some of the best fish dishes and dessert I've ever had. Reception/management staff were great. We had a problem with our Aircon on the 1st day and we were given a new room straight away. Evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss but still very good, the daytime activities were really good and inclusive. Now onto my problem!! The main pool needs emptying and resurfacing. On our last day 1 of our party cut his foot on the bottom where some tiles were missing. Tiles were coming off in a number of places, people would pick them out and place them on the side of the pool. Again reception and management were fantastic and arranged a Dr appointment (where he had 5 stitches) and checked up on him later in the day. Someone did go out to check the pool later when it was closed but as we were leaving next morning I don't know if anything was actually done. If nothing was then the hotel could end up in a mess as it could be a lot worse next time. The above did put a damper on the holiday but believe me I would still go back!!!
The good: Food is nice and a good variety, staff are attentive, sunbeds comfy.
The bad: Rooms are dated and master bed is two camp beds, although it was comfy. We had a family room but it didnt have a bath which was a bit of a pain with little ones. They provide beach towels but kept running out so we couldnt get any for the first day or part of the next day which wasnt ideal The entertainment area was awful, the stage was at the front by the pool, but there was only about 40 tables down the side so people were sat on the floor or on the edge of sunbeds so we ended up just going to bed which was a shame.
Love this hotel can’t wait to go again! Went for a big birthday! Enjoyed the food it was unreal ! Staff were amazing and funny the bar staff and restaurant staff were on the ball so good and happy at what they do ! Housekeeping was spot on and cleaned so well ! The mini bar was the highlight of the room/ apartment everything about this hotel were great the only thing my partner pointed out it was very hard to read the labels on the food in the restaurant was very small even with glasses it was hard to see ! Just a small point I would like to make! Thanks for making us feel so welcome ! With bottles of champagne 🍾 🥂 🍾 I will be back !❤️🍾🌅🍹
First time staying at the Iberostar during the Easter break. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The check in was fantastic, smooth and as we’d a long journey the welcome drinks were a nice touch. After we arrived at our room the staff called to make sure we were happy with our room and had everything we needed. The hotel is very well set up for families with a super kids pool with water slides for different ages 3-12). We didn’t use the kids club that much but loved the mini disco each night. Room: twin with sea view—> basic but clean and has everything you need. Mini bar restocked daily. Nice view of the sea. Handy rails for clothes drying on the balcony. We were all inclusive which included snacks by the Children’s pool including tea, coffee , ice creams, waffles and hotdogs At the main pool where there is some entertainment at various times during the day there is a full bar for both non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. The freshly made fruit smoothies were particularly refreshing. The food in the main restaurant was fantastic fresh and varied. We were never stuck for something to choose.
We will definitely return again! Well worth going all inclusive particularly with young children. Only downside was never enough towels by the pool so we bought our own.
