This family-friendly hotel is located in the fishing village of Playa Blanca, in the south of the Canary island of Lanzarote. The town centre offers an array of shopping and entertainment opportunities and, like the beach, lies some 800 metres from the hotel. Links to the public transport network can be reached in about 600 metres, and the island capital, Arrecife, lies about 40 km away. This comfortable hotel provides guests with an abundant supply of facilities. A café, a bar, and a restaurant which offers international cuisine, show cooking, and themed evening are all available at this establishment. Guests may also make use of the Internet access, the medical service and the bicycle hire facility. The spacious rooms are fitted in a modern style and come with a combined lounge and dining area.

Hotel and the staff were great, the animation team was amazing, got the kids involved with loads of different activities and they loved it.
Location is great, 10 min walk down to town centre and all local shops and beach. Rooms cleaned daily with a sunday being staff day of rest. Atmosphere is lively around pool area with animation team chatting and trying to get people involved, music during day time. Value is you pay what you get, resturant is a themes night with different varierty each night, alongside night time entertainment. Mini disco for children then a different show, band or quiz each night! Two animation staff particular often walked round the pool area chatting and seeing how we are & same of a night time! Bar staff starling & edwardo are also so friendly and chatty, their services are always brilliant!
Absolutely fantastic, could not fault the food. The restaurant staff where amazing. Entertainment staff, kelvin, Mirco and Noa where impeccable Could not fault this hotel at all!!! Absolutely no be back next year x
I don’t understand how this is getting so many good reviews. For a family of 5 in September we paid a lot of money, this is not a four star hotel. Food was cold, accommodation basic, had a screw to put the toilet roll on. Room was cleaned every day, except Sundays which is fine. Hotel wasn’t modernised one bit, they charge extra for safe, extra for wifi per person which is expensive, €5 a day to hire an iron.
Most nights we ate out as we were sick of pork and chicken wings.
Air con only in main bedroom so have to keep all doors open.
One decent show all week - greatest showman, other than that basic.
I don’t think we’re fussy, but the number of 5 star reviews with one contributor makes me question the genuine reviews.
We paid extra for the waterpark, slides were fine the kids pool with slides was filthy, I picked out 4 wrappers one day and two bugs. I would save the money and use on day out.
We absolutely loved our stay at HL Club Playa Blanca! ❤️ We had such a lovely, chilled break and honestly didn’t want to come home.
I emailed the hotel before we travelled after booking through Loveholidays to let them know I’m a full-time wheelchair user, and they were really helpful. We were given a room with step-free access and an accessible shower, which made our stay nice and comfortable. There was plenty of room to get around, and we also had a lovely terrace at the back, which was a really nice space to sit and relax. The room and hotel were clean and well looked after too.
The whole hotel was really easy to get around in my wheelchair as the paths were flat and accessible. I even managed to go swimming using my floats, which I really enjoyed! 🥰 I didn’t need to use a pool hoist, as I could lift myself up with the bars, so I’m not sure whether one is available.
My 11-year-old daughter had a brilliant time too and really enjoyed the pool, entertainment and everything the hotel had to offer. It was lovely seeing her having so much fun and making memories.
The food was lovely, and there was a good variety of entertainment which we really enjoyed. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and it was just a really nice place to switch off and enjoy some family time.
Thank you to everyone at HL Club Playa Blanca for making our stay so enjoyable, fun and comfortable. We had a fantastic time, we’re already missing the place, and we’re hoping to come back next year! ❤️☀️🌴
