This hotel is located in the fishing village of Playa Blanca, in the south of Lanzarote. The hotel is set on the seafront, boasting close proximity to a number of attractions in the area. The hotel is situated just a short distance away from the Flamingo beach and lies a 15 minutes' driving distance from the beach of Papagayo. The town centre is close by, where guests can explore a host of shopping, dining and entertainment venues. This hotel enjoys a charming design, beautifully blending Spanish and Arabic influences. The guest rooms are superbly designed, offering a peaceful setting in which to unwind. Guests are invited to enjoy the facilities and services that the hotel has to offer.
Enjoy a range of recreational amenities, including an outdoor pool, an indoor pool and an outdoor tennis court. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, gift shops/newsstands and a hair salon.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We made the most of our stay at H10 Timanfaya Palace.
We had a nice large room with extremely comfortable twin double beds, good air con. But our party was given ground floor rooms after requesting a high floor (email to hotel and TUI) and rather spoilt the experience.
We found the sunbeds here were low and uncomfortable and not suitable if you suffer from back problems. Unfortunately, you have to pay extra for a Privilege package at this hotel in order to benefit from padded sunbed mattresses!
Food in buffet restaurant was nice on occasion, but overall disappointing. It was often repetitive and there is a lot of room for improvement. We found the quality of the food at La Geria (pool bar) to be extremely poor quality on AI.
Top marks are given for the quality and variety of drinks on AI package, day and night, it was excellent, top branded drinks.
Overall we enjoyed our holiday but would we return here ? the answer is no. Too many negatives.
We recently returned from this beautiful hotel. We have stayed here numerous times and love everything about it. The best parts about it for us are the excellent staff and service. It is so relaxing and like a home from home for us as we have gotten to know many of the staff and fellow guests. Our only sadness this time was that we missed Elvis , but hopefully we'll see him when we return in January. We had a couple of issues in our room but these were quickly sorted and Jose, the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make sure these did not adversely affect our holiday. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return.
Had a lovely weeks stay in August. A beautiful hotel in idyllic surroundings. We had a room on the upper floor which had a delightful view. Food was always very good and the staff were always smiling. We will definitely return.
Nice friendly relaxing hotel.
This is this 4th time we have been to this lovely adults only hotel. The hotel, food, drinks, facilities and the staff are excellent. Couples return year after year, and several we recognised from last September. We will be returning in November which will be our 3rd visit this year. A shout out to the exceptional staff in particular, Siliva who always sets me up for the day with her wonderful smile overseeing the bacon and omelettes and Pepe and Fran in the main restaurant for lunch and dinner. Angel in the bar, and the evening entertainment was brilliant, especially Elvis who we had not seen before. At the time of writing, 70 days until we are back and can't wait!
