Highly recommend this hotel. We chose to book gold level and it was absolutely worth it. We had the two bedroom senior suite with two huge terraces and balinese bed. Nespresso replenished everyday. Loved that we could use the timafaya restaurant in morning's and evenings, you can still go into main restaurant and choose food but it was more peaceful back there. We had no issue with the food and enjoyed it. We chose to eat out 3 times but that was planned in advance. Id like to see oishi and la ricotta become part of the all inc offering. There is no way I'd pay to use real adventure, our 9 year old went once and enjoyed it but it should be part of the hotel, it was complementary that week. The drinks were of a high standard and the gold level solarium was were we spent most of our time. You could see them powerhosing loungers at the end of the week. Pool was a lovely temperature and cocktails were amazing. Food was brought round and the bartender came to loungers to ask if you needed anything. Found the staff very pleasant, friendly and ever so helpful. We enjoyed the entertainment on the terrace. There is a pool table and air hockey table on terrace and a little shop opened in the evenings at weekends. Id like to see more covers for the roof of the balinese beds as it was particularly hot on our week. Snack bar was very handy with anything both hot and cold you may require and the bar beside it made nice coffees and drinks. Reception will order you a taxi.
Absolutely beautiful hotel. The food is delicious but the food served in the La Ricotta and Oishii restaurants is out of this world. The service at these restaurants is second to none and the chefs skills are amazing. You do have to pay extra to eat on these restaurants however the price is extremely reasonable for the quality and service that is delivered. Would highly recommend
We stayed at the Gran Castillo in September 2026 as 2 couples in our late 60’s early 70’s. Check in was smooth and staff were friendly and helpful our bags were taken to our rooms by a porter. We had been upgraded from garden view to sea view free of charge and our rooms were stunning. There was a walk in wardrobe, bathroom had full length bath, separate shower and his and hers sinks. Comfy bed. Sheets changed every 3 days and towels every day. Room cleaning was excellent. We found the food to be more than adequate- it’s only repetitive if you choose the same thing! I am coeliac and there were lots of choices - as any coeliac will know buffets are always a bit of a Russian roulette but everything was well labelled and I didn’t get ‘glutened’ once. Chef took me around on first night and also said if I was at all worried they would cook me something separately in the kitchen. They also had gluten free desserts they brought out if I wanted one. Every morning at breakfast I was brought gf toast and if I wanted, muffins as well. A big thank you to Monserrat and Christian who always made sure I was looked after, also for the first time in 7 years of being coeliac the chef made me gluten free pancakes cooked on a separate hot plate so no cross contamination. The animation team were brilliant the kids adored them and they always made time to say hello - even if you didn’t join in! Their ‘aqua dance’ sessions in the pool were fab and although we didn’t partake watching from our sun beds was the highlight of our day. They also provided a lot of the entertainment in the evenings and although it was always well executed I would of liked a few more singers/tribute acts. In general all the staff were friendly and helpful - big shout out to Bea who kept us well watered at the daytime bar and also in the restaurant- she works incredibly hard as do all of the staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
The animation team asked us to review our visit. Our second stay at Gran Castillo Tagoro has been as fantastic as the first! We honestly can’t fault the hotel, the accommodation, the staff, the facilities and the food are all exceptional. The only thing worth mention is that both kids ended up with sore feet from the pool as the tiles are a little rough - we bought some pool shoes which helped with this. We would come back again in a heartbeat! 😊
This is a review of the main restaurant in the Castillo zone where my family and I spent all of our breakfast, lunch and dinner meals during our 10 night stay at the Grand Castillo Togoro. Most of our time was spent in one seating area and we were mostly served by Mouad who I have to say was outstanding. His friendliness towards me and my family couldn’t be faulted and he was always on hand to help with anything we needed. It added to our experience whilst on holiday and I’d like it if his level of service could be recognised. Thanks very much.
