I wanted to share some feedback following my recent one-week stay at Elba Premium Suites. While I found the rooms to be clean and spacious, and the grounds and gardens well maintained, my experience with the food and service at the adults buffet restaurant left much to be desired. Breakfast options were quite basic and repetitive each day, and the lack of staff was apparent. The few staff members present seemed unfriendly, which was disappointing.
Dinner at the restaurant was no better. Typically, I expect to be greeted by a manager or staff member, seated, and offered a drink, but this simply didn’t happen. We were left to find a table ourselves, and often the tables were dirty or unavailable. The Adults Only pool ended up being the best place to eat, though the staff there were also unwelcoming—especially Azhara, who responded to my request for a drink with a displeased look. When I tried to raise concerns about the quality and quantity of food, Nadia (Guest Relations) spoke over me repeatedly, making it difficult for me to express my thoughts. She mentioned that the Restaurant Manager, Maciek, was regularly present in the restaurant, but unfortunately, he never approached me or any other guests to introduce himself. On my last day, the Adults Pool was full so I sat in the family area. The bar was overwhelmed, with only a single barman serving a crowd of about twenty people. This was simply not acceptable for a hotel claiming four stars. When it came time to check out, the receptionist didn’t ask about my stay or if I enjoyed my holiday. Overall, my experience was disappointing and not at the standard I expected. I would rate it closer to a two-star property rather than four. I hope this feedback is helpful for improvement.
We had a wonderful stay at Elba Premium Suites and couldn't be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the hotel offered a relaxing atmosphere, beautiful facilities, delicious food, and exceptional service from every department.
A special thank you goes to Laura and Nadia from the Guest Relations team. They were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. They always took the time to make sure everything was perfect, answered all our questions with a smile, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Their warmth and dedication truly made a difference and added a personal touch to our holiday.
We highly recommend Elba Premium Suites to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation. We will definitely be back!
Firstly this is an honest review as I’m not out to tarnish the reputation of any hotel. People have their own opinion
This is the second time at the Elba premium suites so was very excited about coming back as I had such a fantastic time here back in 2024. When you walk in, it's lovely, beautiful bright building and looks classy.
Rocky start to the holiday. Air con wasn’t working properly in the room and having spoke to others theirs wasn't the best and were suffering because of the current climate and temperatures
After convincing the maintenance man that it still wasn't working and complaining to reception they moved us.
Food was no where near the standards to what it was last time. Very limited and bland. We struggled this time around. Disgusted that the bread section and puddings weren’t covered. Flies was just landing on the food and guests were non the wiser that came in afterwards. Like this on both restaurants.
All drinks weren't available on all inclusive so some of them was their local spirits which weren't nice at all
Sunbeds is a battle in the adults only area. You have to put your towel down to guarantee one - but plenty in the area where children are allowed
I love to sunbathe but had to cut it short as the flies around pool was ridiculous and I have several bites on my legs And the sewerage smell back from 2024 was still there as of today.
Some staff are friendly others not so. A gentlemen fell at the pool bar and the staff member was muttering how people walk through the bar from the pool wet, so stuff like this was bound to happen. No compassion or care to this man - and no accident form filled in. Shocking as a first aider I found this astonishing. It was holiday makers that looked out for this man - not the staff.
The facilities wasn't great. World Cup on and tvs not working across site and WiFi dips in and out. Saw people complaining lots on my holiday this year
I also didn’t like how all staff have access to your rooms. I get the cleaners have to go in. I caught one of the young staff members - possibly manager come out of our room. We went to reception and asked why he was in our room. He said he had a complaint about the air con and didn’t know what room it was. Didn’t like that especially as I did not give permission for him to be in there Phone not working properly in room so had to keep walking over to reception One morning no water running in the hotel and the toilets were blocked. The hotel is just falling apart 2nd time here, unfortunately will be my last You will get a comment back that "this isn't our normal practice and hope to see you back" message but it's not good enough. Easily fobbed off with no compassion or care and it's no exactly cheap to stay here 4 stars back in 2018, but this holiday I'd say it's more of a 3 star. Sorry Elba won't be back and my friends who were going to book here are no longer coming. You need to vastly improve this hotel and take note on the negative reviews
Just returned and cannot rate this facility highly enough. Important to note, we travelled with grown up children (17 and 22) to the Adults Only area, at the start of the Scottish School holidays, and paid the small premium for Prestige A/I, which provided numerous benefits as standard. These included unlimited access to both A Le Carte restaurants, free refills of this minibar (which included Cruzcampo Beer, real Coke/Fanta etc and 2.5l of water daily). The standard of accommodation, Wine/Beer/Spirits/Cocktails, friendliness of staff, Pool area, restaurants, and food were all highlights. There was nothing in the A/I offering that I would change - all the wine was in branded bottles, and although lower in ABV, perfectly drinkable; in my experience this is rare. (not to mention Cruzcampo on draft). I think the Italian restaurant would benefit from improved aircon, but that's about the only suggestion I would make.
We stayed at the hotel with a premium adults only package in July 2026. Our stay was disappointing to say the least, the hotel’s public areas are dirty and in a state of disrepair. The drinks were made using cheap alcoholand we were only able to get three cocktails, not any others advertised and not even provided an option to pay for upgraded drinks. This was on top of already paying for the upgraded package. The food was of poor quality and there was very little choice, really only a meat or fish options with salad. There was no adult entertainment as advertised and the adults only pool was full of teenagers. The pool also had very little shaded areas and not enough sunbeds as these were being used by families. Almost all of the staff were disinterested and rude. There was also unable to provide any kind of table service. One female staff member in particular stood out and provided great service within the breakfast and adult only pool bar. I would not recommend anyone to stay here unless they are looking for a low 3 star hotel at 4 star prices
