Caybech Sun is located in the south of Lanzarote, one of the most popular tourist áreas of the island. The nearest beach is around 600 metres away. The hotel comprises a total of 150 fully equipped apartments with terrace or balcony spread over 2 floors and surrounded by beautiful gardens with all services and facilities. A bar and a restaurant are available to enjoy the day with refreshing drinks and snacks. Also, you can spend the day in the outdoor swimming pool or in the sport área practicing Volleyball, Tennis or Basket. For children we also have a mini club and lots of activities with the entertainment team as well as a a children's park. Restaurants, bars , shops and public transport links can be found within 20-minute walk of the hotel.
Dip into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools or enjoy other recreational amenities, which include a fitness centre. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access and an arcade/games room.
We have had a nice chilled holiday at the caybeach sun hotel. The outside around the pool and grounds are definitely a 3 star but I would say the rooms are a 2 star. There are plenty of sunloungers around the pool but definitely a shortage of umbrellas. If you want a umbrella you have to get up early. The pool isn't supposed to open until 10 but there are people by the pool before 9. The room is a bit basic but has what you need. The TV does have 4 English speaking channels (31-34) which are news channels. The air con is a god send for my wife. The remotes for the air con and TV are 12 and 6 euros. You get a receipt, if you don't have the receipt when you hand them back in ,you won't get your money back. It's a 20 minute walk (timed) to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants . Go out of the hotel turn left then left again and just keep walking, until you come to where the road turns right. You can stay on that road and it will bring you too bar,shops and restaurants or you can cross over and take the path next to the hotel down to the beach. At the bottom of the path either turn left to go to the marina or right to the shops, bars and restaurants. We would come back.
This was our second great holiday at Caybeach, and once again we had a wonderful stay. We travelled as two families of three, with teenage boys, and it was the perfect setup for us.
Our pool-view room was great — clean, comfortable and with everything we needed. We spend very little time in our room when we’re on holiday, and the location is fantastic, so most of our days and evenings were spent out enjoying the town.
Despite visiting during the August school holidays, we had no problem getting sunbeds when returning to the pool in the afternoon, which was a real bonus.
The staff work incredibly hard and are always friendly and helpful. You can really see the effort they put in to make sure everyone has a great holiday.
We had another fantastic stay and would happily return to Caybeach again!
Really enjoyed our stay. Great Value for money.
We went bed and breakfast. The breakfast had everything you'd expect. Cold and hot food, cereals etc.
Pools were clean. Also had slides to keep the kids occupied. Atmosphere was very relaxed. Rooms were clean. Youre not paying for 5 star so dont expect luxury. I didnt have any complaints about our room though. Nice area to sit out the front of room.
We had a car, but the main shopping and beach was only a short walk.
Staff were lovely.
Overall, very happy with the value of this hotel.
Stayed here for 5 nights with my boyfriend, however seems more of a family hotel. Nice, clean hotel. comfy beds. Good value for money but nothing luxurious. 15 minute walk into Playa Blanca. Have to payed extra for aircon, tv remote, key for the safe. about €15 each.
This 3 star hotel should be a 1 star hotel
We arrived here for a week (7th-14th) when we arrived we went to our room where the cleanliness was not up to good standards We requested 2 cots before we came away and we only found 1 in our room , every time we asked the staff was not helpful and said it was my problem and i could rent one in which I had too
The cleaners did not come around once in the week , we left signs on the door handle for the room to be cleaned and it wasn’t , we ended finding multiple cockroaches and bugs throughout our stay
The location of the hotel is good but that’s the only thing it has going for it
We was given a sheet of paper which read Sunbeds locked away until 10 pm , yet people were leaving towels out on Sunbeds and walking away for hours
I do not recommend this hotel - it is all one big lie
