The complex has a Wellness Centre with a Spa and Gymnasium a sports centre with tennis courts and paddle tennis and play areas for children including a children swimming pool and a pirate ship and offers entertainment for both children and adults.
Barcelo Playa Blanca covers an area of 1000000 m2 right on the seafront 100 metres from the beach and close to the Rubicon Marina a promenade with a pleasure marina restaurants bars shops and leisure zones.

Great location literally a five minute walk to the marina. Hotel is lovely and big, the rooms are very spacious and cleaned Daily, including clean towels. Pool area is great with plenty of sunbeds! Staff around the hotel are helpful and friendly. Food is good. We chose all-inclusive but there are other options. I would recommend this hotel and stay again.
A truly memorable stay, a superb hotel offering something for everyone. A great all inclusive package, food was great and a huge variety. Definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely be going back.
What an amazing hotel, we were a group of couples. There were no complaints from any of us! The hotel is within a short walk to the Marina, where there are some lovely restaurants and a good market on a Saturday and Wednesday. We stayed on an all inclusive basis and there was always a very good selection of food for all meals. The pool side bar also had a good selection if you didn’t want to go into the main restaurant. Drinks were branded which made the stay even better! The pool was amazing, with plenty of beds available everyday. The entertainment team were fantastic and cannot fault them, they were always very welcoming and made the groups time around the pool fun. There is always entertainment in the evening where some nights were better than others, but this is what you would expect. Would I come here again?? 100% would I, it was the best holiday I have had this year! Thank you for making great 😊
This is my third time to stay in this hotel and this time it was with extended family. We had a wonderful time with no complaints at all. Food was excellent with a great atmosphere throughout the hotel grounds, everybody is very friendly. Thank you to all the staff @ Barcelo Hotel for a wonderful and stress free experience. We will be back again soon.
This place is massive, with ample sunbeds and the facilities are second to none. I had a swim up room,.and while the room was compact, it had everything you could need. The bed was possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever had in a hotel, but I did find someone's left over crisps on the sofa, I imagine with over 700 rooms in this complex and with time restrictions sometimes it could be quantity over quality but generally it was clean. The lady on my check in Natalia is an absolute ambassador for The brand and gave the warmest of welcomes. I did feel let down by the food, most of the container lids were broken, and I felt that choice was limited especially at breakfast for hot food, and when I say hot, it was lucky if it was luke warm. Lunch was better at The pool bar especially, but I am a self confessed fussy eater and mainly had pizza and pasta for a week. But I generally enjoyed my week.
