Idyllically situated by the sea and near magnificent beaches, the apartments are integrated within the Prainha Tourist Village. The beach is approx. 300 m away and has direct access through lift. The center of Alvor is reachable in about 20 minutes walk. The complex is located about 65 km from Faro airport, 4 km from Portimão and 2.5 km from Alvor.
The family-friendly complex offers a wide range of leisure options. In the main building there is a total of 61 tourist apartments. Facilities include 24-hour reception, 2 lifts, a snack bar and a mini market (April-October). The complex also has 4 restaurants including “Caniço” (April-October), built into the rocks and by the sea (accessible by elevator). You will also have at your disposal a TV room, Internet access (free), laundry service (extra cost), bike rental, playground, and a car park.
The hotel has 2 different types of apartments. The studios (maximum 2 people) include a bedroom, kitchen or kitchenette and bathroom. The 1-bedroom apartments (maximum 3 people) offer bedroom, living room, kitchenette and bathroom. All kitchens / kitchenettes have a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave and cutlery and crockery. All apartments come with individually adjustable air conditioning, safe (extra charge), pool or sea view, face south and have a balcony or terrace. Facilities include satellite / cable TV, shower and safe (extra cost) and free access to the gym and turkish bath (closed on Sundays).
Fantastic place, peaceful setting just outside Alvor. Short walk through the grounds to the beautiful beach and start of the boardwalk which gives access to restaurants and beaches. The aparthotel is spacious and airy and has everything you need. What makes the holiday are the exceptional staff. Reception so welcoming and efficient. Icing on the cake is the restaurant run by Carlos and Monica with 2 of the loveliest waiters . They make you feel like the most important people and the food is to die for. We ate elsewhere a couple of times but nothing matched their food and nothing was too much trouble. Food variety and prices wonderful. Thank you for our memories ♥️
My wife and family hav been staying at this complex last 10 years ,this year my daughter and her husband and 2kid booked private accommodation in the village, just a warning to anyone who are thinking of doing the same ,a lot of owners are not paying fees for pool use u will not be told this until u arrive, 2 adults 2 kids no pool ,very dishonest no help or satisfaction from anyone she booked it with booking. Com still no satisfaction had to leave it after days and booked into the hotel for 1300 euro was then given accommodation that was old and musty and a few cockrochs as well,she had to move a 3rd time we are regular customers of the complex and hotel but it ment nothing just a word of warning BE CARE FULL
I feel the need to give an honest review as our experience here was not at all similar to the many amazing reviews we read before booking. The place is quite tired and hasn’t been updated in quite a while. The air conditioning in our room was abysmal, but much more than a small fan would do. The shower is a handheld piece and very poor flow. The beds were not changed once over our 6 day stay and towels were only replaced when I asked after 5 days. The main pool left me covered in what I think was small paint chips and it itched so bad I had to leave and shower. The Atlantic pool is nicer but you have to rent the beds or sit on the grass. I sat on the grass and got covered in ant bites. The staff were fine, location is a bit out of the way but and uber or bolt taxi is only around €5 into Alvor. I think it’s ok, but not worth what we paid and I wouldn’t return.
Beautiful location the hotel restaurant is the best, quality food, excellent staff lovely atmosphere.
I am in love with this food at this restaurant but the icing on the cake is there piña colada's. They advertise they are the best in town but I can verify it is the best in the world... (I have been all around the world and no one can beat Monica's Pina Colada and that is a fact) it is also the most friendly establishment you will ever find Thank you so much and looking forward to coming back again and again.
