Fantastic stay!
Fantastic experience. Staff were amazing, so attentive. I had an exoerience where I mislaid a small purse that had my watch in it. Tito, the duty manager, was fantatsic. He was so helpful, calling all the staff to inform them about the missing item. He kept me updated on what he was doing and assured me that he would do whatever it takes to find it. Embarrassingly, after 1.5hours of Tito's time...i found it behind the curtain in my room! But his service was exceptional! Really enjoyed our stay, breakfast was gorgeous, pool area was very chilled and kept clean. Couldnt fault the Pestana South Beach. Will be back!
Excellent hotel in an amazing location
A memorable return visit for a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children ( 10 and 14 years ). Excellent location- near board walk and 2 minutes walk to a white sandy beach . Beautiful views from hotel out to the sea and coast . A relatively small hotel with a very friendly and personal touch. Staff are amazing and very attentive . A very relaxing stay. 3 lovely pools to choose from- very near hotel and sun loungers. Our kids really enjoyed pools , beach, local diving and kayaking. Excellent selection of restaurants nearby - short walk or uber away. Brilliant holiday , would highly recommend for families and couples. Well done to all the hotel staff .

Beautiful hotel with amazing, friendly staff! Would highly recommend
Every thing was perfect-we loved the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. The decor was fabulous & the pool area amazing-

A delightful hotel with customer centric staff
We enjoyed a wonderful week of rest and relaxation at the Pestana South Beach Alvor, a delightful, low-rise, contemporary design hotel with excellent amenities overlooking the beach.
Our first positive impression was gained on arrival when the delightful Christina recognised my wife and warmly welcomed us back to the hotel and offered us a cool drink or a glass of sparkling wine.
Our spacious suite was on the ground floor comprised a separate bedroom, bathroom and sitting area and opened out on to a patio with table chairs and loungers.
The breakfast buffet was extensive and plentiful and in my opinion should accommodate all tastes. The gentleman in charge at the bar area was incredibly service oriented and made coffee to order.
The restaurant is an ideal place for lunch or a light snack and a cool drink during the day.
The grounds around the hotel are exceptionally well maintained as is the pool area.
The staff at this hotel is superb, nothing is ever a problem, their aim is clearly to please and they are genuinely customer centric.
