With its convenient location in Alvor, the hotel offers easy access to the city's must-see destinations, making it an ideal starting point for excursions in this lively area. There are shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants in the vicinity and the hotel is 900 metres from the beach. Public transportation links can be found 300 m from the hotel. The historical centre of Alvôr is just a 10-minute walk away and the shops and cafés of Portimão are 4.5 km away. Guests will find at their arrival in the apartment the entertainment programme which includes a wide range of activities for adults and children such as swimming-pool games, quizzes, snooker, football, tennis, table tennis, darts, baseball, barbecues and others. In the bar a different show every night takes place. Live music, karaoke, parrots shows, quizz games, capoeira (brazilian dance). Information leaflets from several entertainment companies can be found at the reception. There are studio apartments and also 1, 2, or 3 apartments with comfortable bedrooms. All the accomodation has telephone, safe and livingroom with air conditioning and satellite TV. There is a pleasant restaurant next to the swimming-pool. The guests have the option to have breakfast or half-board with a delicious buffet cooked by the chef.

Perfectly Acceptable
We visited in August 2026 and stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment.
The apartment was in good condition and clean on arrival. There was air conditioning in the main room and 2 of the bedrooms which was not perfect but did not effect our stay. There was a change of towels and our beds were made once during the week which worked fine for us. We didn't eat at the restaurant.
The beach is approx. a 15-20 min walk and the same for the restaurants, which were always busy and a good variety /quality
I have 2 criticisms of the hotel, firstly there is a chronic shortage of beds by the pool. Also people were clearly getting there early to reserve them and then leaving for a sustained period of time. The hotel could really do with improving this situation as it definitely affected our stay. Secondly the WIFI in the room does not work, which for a hotel nowadays is not really acceptable
Other than those 2 things we enjoyed our stay but would not rush back.

Apartment 612 - say No!
I booked out apartment 612 and we have an infestation of ants - my skin is crawling. Furthermore, the apartment is extremely ill equipped- no electric kettle (unpowered kettle takes 15 minutes to heat up) toaster that needs held down to operate, no tea towels, no baking trays, no brush and shovel (to sweep up the ants) curtains hanging off the poles, no kitchen bin, awful pillows etc . Too much to list! I have an apartment in Edinburgh which I rent out and I’m actually appalled at the state of this apartment. I honestly couldn’t live with myself - I’d be so ashamed. To access this apartment you need to climb an external metal bridge - not easy with cases. I wouldn’t stay in this apartment again and certainly wouldn’t recommend it - even at 1/2 the price.

Avoid booked 9th June till 16june paid in full man come knocking on 14th June said the bill had not been paid paid the bill again when I got home got a bank statement that showed two payments taken the hotel refusing to reply to my emails disgrace

Basic but had what was needed for budget traveller. Nice pool but the pool bar looked like a cafeteria. No ambience

Great value 3 star accommodation.
I visited as a solo traveller mid May for a quick week away. Yes very dated but in a good way. You might even say Traditional. Helpful friendly staff . Super clean spacious Cool rooms Separate living room , full kitchen, balcony . Great location easy walk into town or to the beach free parking All of the shared facilities have been upgraded and updated since our last visit five years ago. If you want 5 star ( we have also stayed at Tivoli and several of the Pestana's for other reasons eg to celebrate family occasions ) then by all means go ahead and pay those prices.
