The hotel is conveniently close to local shops and places of entertainment and gives easy access to the lively resort of Bugibba. There is a restaurant and a well stocked bar in the hotel itself, both have views across the bay.
Hotel is in a beautiful prime location for sea views & locality to bars & restaurants. The staff are extremely friendly & polite. The hotel is absolutely spotlessly clean & the rooms are really spacious . Few things that could be improved. The roof top pool is extremely crowded you can barely move between the beds & by 9:30 you stand little chance of getting a sunbed. The music around the pool is awful, just the same couple of songs on repeat which after a few days starts to grate. The beds in the room are extremely hard & the pillows are lumpy - we had 6 in our room & none of them were comfortable you expect more from a 4* hotel. Breakfast is average there is plenty of choice but the temperature of the food isn’t always great. The side sea view rooms are really overlooked so would recommend upgrading if you like privacy. This hotel served its purpose for a long bank holiday weekend.
We stayed at Seaview Hotel in St Paul’s Bay Malta for 7 nights. The location of the hotel was good, it was spotlessly clean and the house keeping in our room was excellent.
The infinity pool situated on the roof of our hotel was very pretty and looked great at night, however it was incredibly small and noway big enough for the amount of guests staying. The sun bed situation was even more gruelling and if you were not up on the roof at 9am or slightly after, you were not getting a bed.
We paid for half board and so this included our breakfast and evening meal. Both were poor quality produce and like a school canteen. It honestly hand on heart wasn’t good. The lack of fresh fruit and fresh juices was shocking. They served up corned beef hash one morning which was weird. We ate out four of the seven days we were there even though we had paid half board.
The small spa and indoor pool and gym was a nice touch.
The lady who sits in reception and takes bookings for the excursions was frankly rude. She was so unhelpful and we were just not impressed with her attitude. The rest of the staff, those on front desk, housekeeping and restaurant staff were all so lovely and really helpful.
We had an ok experience in Malta. Mdina and Gozo was incredible and I’d highly recommend a visit. Valetta was alright if you like shopping in British shops and finding out about the war in Malta.
The boat trip to the blue lagoon was really pretty, however getting off at Comino was super crowded.
Lastly the airport was diabolical, unorganised and you could not find anywhere to sit for love nor money.
We had a 4 day stay in this lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive and the rooms were spacious and very clean.
The infinity pool was excellent, giving a fantastic view of the bay.
The only negative thing is that what looks like a fridge in the rooms, isn't a fridge - it's a cooler, that doesn't cool. As it was so hot, we purchased cans and water from a local shop to drink when we got back to our room, but found our drinks to be warm and undrinkable after an hour. Never experienced this before in such a hot country.
Great location overlooking small beach. Very clean, very comfortable. Nice rooms very friendly staff. Breakfast is very good with a lot of choice and changes each day. Staff excellent but one in particular deserves a mention, Donna went out of her way to make sure everything was just right 😊 The views over the sea from the balcony is stunning . The only downside as mentioned in other reviews is the very and it is very loud music from Nine lives on the beach. If you like to sit out in peace and quiet in the evening forget it Nine lives spoil it, such a shame!
We cane here 2 years ago absolutely loved it felt like a top class hotel staff were great breakfast was superb, room was spectacular ,that was two years ago, just came back from a 7 day stay breakfast included , the breakfast was poor compared to last time not fresh orange juice it was out of a machine, my partner loved the pastries before but very poor she barely eat anything, only thing that was better was the scrambled egg, the room was ok when we arrived did ask for a different side of the hotel as it was an anniversary but they could not achieve it,, had a bottle of wine a cake etc which was a lovely thought, that's where it ended ,, the patio door had a snake shift lock as the main one had broken ,, the shower leaked which made the floor slippery and has to use all towels to clean up ,, and then the smell of sewage every time we came back to the room we did report it but I don't think anything was done as we could still smell something,, we had stayed in an apartment 6 days before and to be honest we paid an extra £600 to stay here and wished we could of stayed back at the apartment. Will we stay here again I doubt it unless things change as nearly £1200 for 8 days was not worth it,, I did express my concerns when we checked out but like always they just said sorry.
