Situated on the east coast of Zakynthos Island, 6 km from the port and 13 km from the airport, this charming hotel is just 700 metres from the sea. Every year, the nearby beach is awarded an International Blue Flag because of its pristine clean waters. The area is popular with tourists of all ages and offers a wide array of activities for those, who find swimming and sunbathing monotonous. Visitors can choose between horse riding, tennis, soccer, bowling. Families with children will find all necessary amenities within the premises, as between the two buildings there is a big swimming pool with a children's area and a bar where parents can enjoy refreshing drinks, unique cocktails and wonderful, entertaining evenings.
Pamper yourself with on-site massages or enjoy recreation amenities such as an outdoor pool. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, a hair salon and a television in a common area.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Another fabulous holiday here. We absolutely love it, so peaceful, restful and special. The family go above and beyond to make your holiday special. Food is excellent, breakfast lunch and dinner, cocktails are really good too. Hotel is spotless, pool area is lovely and relaxing and super comfy sun loungers which are plentiful. Absolutely perfect for us
We stayed at the Pantheon Hotel for 5 nights and it was not long enough!
It’s a lovely small, family-run hotel, which gives it such a nice, personal feel and the family themselves were so friendly and welcoming. A special mention to Suk (I think is her name) Olivia and Elouise are all lovely girls, very friendly, attentive, and couldn’t have been more helpful.
Our hotel room was 303 and it was spotless! Clean towels daily. The housekeepers and all the staff worked so hard and it didn’t go unnoticed.
We had breakfast included in our stay and there was plenty of choice of hot and cold food and it was lovely.
The food ordered in the restaurant was really nice and good value for money. We shared most meals between the two of us as very large portions.
The pool area was very quiet, even with all the sun-beds in use it was very chilled. No entertainment in the evening, which is one of the reasons why we booked this. No noise in the evening, all the guests were respectful of each other.
It takes 10-15 mins to walk to the strip that has all the bars and restaurants.
I don’t normally like to go back to the same place twice as I think there’s more to see but we hope to come back again 🥰
Arrived from an early morning flight from Manchester with Tui at 12.15pm. Private taxi transfer was around 20 minutes. Room access isn’t until 2pm but we managed to get in early as room was ready at 1.30pm.
Check in was swift. Welcome drink on arrival which was a nice touch.
There are only 26 rooms at this hotel so not overly busy.
Was given room 404 on the second floor, which is a deluxe double sea view room (yes you can see the sea, but it’s very far away)
There is no lift to get to this room.
If you enter the walkway by the front to get to these rooms, (where we were directed) there is a low tree branch that you have to walk under. My husband didn’t notice this and he cut all his head, so if you have to go they way be careful.
The room has a bathroom with shower and toilet. (Shower was a bit temperamental and changed from hot to cold) A sink area with mirror on entrance. Bedroom consisted of queen size bed (The mattress had little support so I asked for a mattress topper to try and firm it up and it was brought promptly, but it didn’t do much) wardrobe, dressing table, fridge. The beds come with a waterproof cover on under the sheet (I understand why) however it is quite noisy every time you turn over in bed.
Some rooms had outdoor hot tubs, so check room selections before you book if you want one of these.
Room key is an actual key not a card. It does come with a bulky card attached to the key ring, to put in for electric. Same with safe, it is an actual key not a keypad type. There are not many plug sockets and we had to unplug the bedside lights to plug things in (so take an extension lead) Very small balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Free WiFi, free safe, free aircon (worked well) Tv (no English channels but you can connect to Netflix or prime if you have an account) Full size Iron, a decent hairdryer and kettle with a couple of coffee and sugar sachets (no milk so we had to buy some) Complimentary shampoo/shower gel, soap, slippers and toothbrushes
Pool area has 20 sun loungers with deep padded beds which were very comfy. There was a smaller kids pool with 4 sun loungers. Free pool towels. You cannot bring your own food or drink to the pool area and can only consume what is purchased from the hotel. Pool is not heated. We never struggled to get a sunbed if you got one early morning. Pool area is peaceful with some background music playing.
Breakfast (8-10am) was cereal, bread, croissants. Hot food consists of fried egg, beans, Greek bacon and mini sausage. Also had potato, broccoli etc Fruit, cakes cheese, ham, tea, coffee, orange, apple and mixed juice. Restaurant is open for lunch 12-3pm, Evening 6.30-9.30pm. All EXCELLENT home cooked food and good portion sizes. You can buy food and drinks from the restaurant and bar.
We were given directions of how to get to the beach and local bars and restaurants on arrival. To get to these areas, walk down the short path up to the hotel (it’s a bit steep) when at the main road turn LEFT. There is no pavement on this road So keep to the left. If you keep walking you will come to a couple of bars and a shop (on the corner) it is on a T junction. At the junction turn right and you will find shops, bars and restaurants. From this road if you cross over and take any of the roads (on the left) it will take you down to the beach.
The sunbeds at the beach range from €15-30 for 2 beds and an umbrella.
The nearest supermarket is around a 4/5 minute walk. (At the T junction) Beach and bars restaurants 10-15 minute walk. Due to where this hotel is, if you have walking or mobility issue I would not recommend unless you intend to hire a car or get taxis everywhere. Taxis are a set price of €10 per trip anywhere around the town
Mini golf and Pharmacy 1.5km away, There are lots more restaurants at this end of tsilivi. I would say this is the livelier part. (Takes about 20-25 minutes walk )
The waterpark is less than 10 minute walk away from the hotel.
Don’t forget to bring your mosquito sprays as us and many others got bit quite bad.
We hired a quad for €60 to travel a bit of the island (make sure you bring your driving licence)
Check out is 11am. Hotel is clean and well looked after. Staff are very friendly and helpful
Very clean, friendly staff, renovated rooms and very nice cocktails. Dodgy road to walk back at night, we took a small torch so we didn’t get hit by a car. Pool area has about 20 sun beds, very comfy but packed together, usual sun bed reservers placing towels down at 8am but only a few felt the need to do this, I can imagine how busy it much be in the summer, 20 beds v 24 ish rooms? Anyway we went to the beach and in the afternoon there were a few sun beds free on our return so didn’t really have any issues. Family run, very good service, run like clockwork. Taxi 10€ into town. Music at the outside area on in the evening so can hear it but it stops before midnight. Nicely out of the way so no road noise.
Have stayed at the Pantheon for several years now, myself and Brother, and it just keeps on getting better and better. Lovely Boutique 4* hotel, set in quiet surroundings, where you can just chill all day by the pool, the staff are lovely and very helpful, Breakfast has a massive choice of both hot and cold options, the hotel has recently been upgraded with a lovely outside area, which is shaded and non shaded, perfect for having a spot of lunch or a drink, while been able to view the pool, with very comfortable seats.
I highly 100% recommend this hotel, been coming since 2017 and will be back again next year...Well done Dimitris and your Team.
