Lovely place, lovely people but a little far out of town.
The pool is fab and the hotel supply towels to use there.
The little beaches opposite the hotel are only accessible to the very finest. Rock climbing and balance beam skills needed.
Very good hotel, friendly staff and excellent food.
The hotel was good. The staff were helpful, breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. On day 5 our aircon started dripping water. I went down to reception and told the girl. She said okay I will send the maintenance man. About dinner time I went back to the room for something and noticed the room hadn’t been made up. And the aircon was still dripping water and the floor was now quite wet. We thought maybe they just hadn’t been round yet. When we went back up to the room to get changed for tea, we saw the room still hadn’t been made up (not that this matters at all for us) but also meant no one else had seen the water from the aircon. We went back to reception and they said yes the maintenance man was coming. We then spotted a cleaner and said please can you come and mop the floor of water. He came in and was very surprised to see how much water had come out and radioed reception to organise for a maintenance man to come soon. Then a lady from reception had to come and see for herself. She said the maintenance man will come while we are out for tea which was fine. We came back later on and the dripping had stopped. So we assumed it was fixed.
We got up the next day and went to a boat trip. When we came home, the room had been made up and nothing looked out of the ordinary. Except that the electric card had been taken out of the hold so the electric wasn’t working. Then my friends came in stating that reception had told them that they were going to charge us €20 per day because we had left the aircon on all day. And that the maintenance man told them that’s why it had started leaking. This is very strange to me as how would he know this and also if they were going to charge for leaving the aircon on, they should have mentioned this at the start of our stay not 5 days in. And finally, there was no way they could prove the aircon had been left on all day (and it hadn’t). They then said but we will wave the charge anyway, as if this was a favour.
It was also interesting that our bedsheets had not been changed, just made up and we had not had new towels left. Again this is not a problem but we were disappointed that they had tried to charge us for something they had no proof of. Overall we had a good stay, the staff were helpful, the shuttle bus into Skala was handy and the food was nice
Excellent location with stunning view, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The service staff was always ready to serve.
amazing little hotel with very friendly staff, no sunbed wars and a lovely pool, rodi was simply amazing and made our holiday special as did evelyn. the downpoints for me were its a bit out of the way and the pool area lacked atmosphere it probably needs music on or somehing and the food and drinks around the pool are very expensive
