Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
A very nice hotel located in a relatively convenient location, very clean and a good breakfast, and most importantly the hotel staff are nice, courteous and warm people, from the cleaners to the reception and all the employees.
We had a very comfortable stay at the TRYP Dassia Corfu hotel. Whilst the rooms, general cleanliness and food were first class, it was the service, attitude and friendliness of the staff which really made our stay memorable. No request was too much trouble and the staff went out of their way to be helpful at all times. Although we didn't get to know all their names, I would like to give a special mention (and a big thank you) to Andreas, Aris, Manos and Panos. Keep doing what you are doing! As an aside, it would have been great to have been able to have an evening meal at the hotel. However, there are lots of good restaurants nearby who benefit from additional custom as a result. Also, if you are likely to be disturbed by traffic noise from the busy road outside, it might be best to book a room at the rear of the hotel. Chris and Geraldine Goodall, Leeds
On arrival at Tryp we were greeted with a welcome drink and explanation of the hotel and facilities by Tonia whilst we completed and then Jenny finalised our formal checking- in forms. We thought the welcome drink was a nice touch. The hotel is central in Dassia with the Malibu summer beach club a 5 minute walk. If spending the day as a couple, €34 for 2 loungers and umbrella is ok. The hotel will book for you and you pay at the beach club at the end of your day. Tom (Tam) is a character and he and his staff look after you well. The blue and green bus bus-stops are opposite the nearby Joy supermarket on the busy main street if wanting to go to eg Corfu Town (blue) or Ipsoss/Gouvia direction (green). The hotel breakfast choice was numerous and the food was very good. As the hotel does not serve dinner, there are numerous eating places available close by and down at the beach front. The double rooms in hotel are a good size, cleaned daily by room service and the air con was a valuable benefit. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful and genuine. The pool area is a good size and food is available at the pool bar for most of the day. I'd like to thank Tonia, Jenny and Michael on reception, Manos, Stanos and Georgia who worked mostly in the pool bar. Leonidas at breakfast and Aris in the bar. I did not get everyones name, but you are all a credit to yourselves, your employer and your country. Thank you for ensuring our holiday was relaxing and enjoyable. Had a short 4 day stay at the TRYP. We had a fantastic time . Everyone is so helpfull and happy. Special mention to Manos & Georgia at the pool bar and Yllka who kept our room spotless. Everywhere in the hotel is kept immaculately and was a pleasure to stay at. Lots of good local restaurants and bars nearby and also only a short walk to the beach if you fancy. Will be going back.Such an enjoyable Experience. Book it you won’t be disappointed
Would confirm all the positives in previous reviews of this hotel and the super staff from meet and greet to room cleaning pool staff and all in between they all do their utmost to ensure you are happy and any request is dealt with speedily- and with a smile ! We had a room upgrade which was very welcome and was much appreciated! As has been noted - Dassia is a small area And lacks much in the way of charm there are considerable vacant shops and it’s all a bit run down - there are some super restaurants and good food is easy to find the beach is long just a short walk away and we never had any trouble in finding a sun bed x2 and umbrella When need ( about 14 € ) for a combo .. Read reviews and way up the pros and cons and you won’t be disappointed.. TRYP recommended
