From start to finish, Ikos Odisia was exceptional. The staff answered every email before we even left England, and had things booked and ready for us on arrival. Stamatia recognised our name at check-in and put herself at our disposal — such a lovely welcome. Check-in itself was the best I've experienced anywhere: no queues, just champagne and a personal guide (Arseni) to walk us through everything.
The staff are what truly set this place apart — friendly, happy, superbly trained, and always going above and beyond. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Towels and hot water were endless…
Our room had a private garden opening onto the pool, and the village-style layout meant it never felt crowded. Beautiful lighting, colour scheme, and design throughout — even reception was a pleasure to sit in. Loved the sail canopy above the bar at Elia.
Food was superb — breakfast at Ouzo, dinners at Azul and Elia were highlights. The sunset cruise was fabulous, car hire seamless, golf wonderful, and football (3 hrs a day!) made even better by Costas.
Outstanding service at a beautiful family resort
We had a fantastic stay at Ikos Odisia and couldn’t fault the level of service. The resort is beautiful, with lovely pools, plenty of sunbeds and an excellent choice of restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Azule and Sea Grill, and the WhatsApp concierge service made it incredibly easy to arrange anything we needed.
A special mention must go to Stamatia in Guest Relations, who was absolutely amazing. When our original room wasn’t quite right for us, Stamatia and Alexandra listened, helped us and arranged an upgrade to a Junior Suite. They genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed our holiday and were absolute legends!
Ines, our waitress by the pool, was another real gem—always polite, friendly and incredibly hardworking.
George was also brilliant, arranging taxis for us and explaining everything we needed to know about visiting Aqualand, which made the day very straightforward.
Our biggest tip would be to visit Guest Relations when you arrive. They spent time talking us through the restaurants and helped organise our dining reservations for the week. You can then change them if your plans alter, but it’s helpful to have something booked.
It was the wonderful staff who really made this holiday stand out. We left feeling extremely well looked after and would happily return.
We had a fantastic stay at Ikos while I was there with work. The facilities were amazing, and the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.
There was an excellent selection of restaurants, with plenty of choice, and the facilities for children were phenomenal - everything you could possibly need and more.
The swimming lessons with Mermaid Academy were a particular standout. Philip was wonderful: calm, kind and fantastic with the children. He really noticed their individual strengths and knew exactly how to support them in building confidence in the water.

Dear ikos We take nothing for granted at our time of life: both of us are 70 next year. However, we have been very fortunate to have had some extremely good holidays, met some really nice people and experienced very fine service. Notwithstanding the above, our latest holiday, at your Odisia hotel, has changed our views on what is possible, regarding a welcome, the service, the standards, the friendliness, the professionalism etc; I could go on and on with many more superlatives, so, I’ll cut it short: - Virtually all of this is down to one person, and his name is Prodromos Mistilidis. Never, on all our holidays (e.g. - Celebrity ‘The Retreat’, Regent Seven Seas, Sandals, Silversea etc), have we experienced anything like the last 10 days we have spent at the Odisia: he, and you, are in a class of your own. This gentleman is a credit to your organisation, so much so we have already booked for next year, in addition your trip to the Oceania and our closest family’s trip to the Andalusia, all in 2027.
