We’ve just returned from an amazing stay at St George Beach Hotel & Spa in Cyprus, and honestly, we couldn’t fault it. As a couple aged 38 and 44, we were looking for somewhere relaxing, enjoyable and with plenty of good food and drinks – and this hotel exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was fantastic. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the food was absolutely delicious, and all of the staff were so kind, caring and friendly. You could genuinely tell that they cared about their guests having the best possible holiday. Our favourite restaurant was Shoga, the Asian à la carte. The food was so tasty and it quickly became our favourite place to eat. My husband also absolutely loved the pizza from the snack bar – so much so that it deserves a special mention! There was also a fantastic choice of cocktails, which was definitely a bonus! 🍹 The bar staff were brilliant, but a special mention has to go to the team at the Tiki Bar. They really went above and beyond for us and made us feel so special. They were incredibly chatty and friendly and even remembered our drinks order when we walked in each evening. Those little touches really made our holiday and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. We also loved the sunbed allocation system. We chose F, near the Sunset Bar, and were offered a place by the pool from day three. However, we actually decided to stay in F because we loved it there so much! It was such a great system and meant there was no stress or rushing around trying to find a sunbed each morning. The room was lovely and was made up whenever we requested it, and the whole hotel was exceptionally well maintained and clean. My husband particularly enjoyed snorkelling in the sea, which was another highlight of our stay. There was plenty to enjoy both around the hotel and in the surrounding area, but we were also more than happy spending our days relaxing at the hotel. Overall, we genuinely have no complaints whatsoever. Everything from the food, drinks and facilities to the cleanliness and, most importantly, the wonderful staff made this such a special holiday for us. We would absolutely return to St George Beach Hotel & Spa and, if we visit Cyprus again, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here. We’ve had an amazing time and would highly recommend this hotel to couples looking for a relaxing, friendly and memorable holiday. ❤️🇨🇾 Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making our stay so special – we will definitely be back!
We stayed at the St George’s Hotel & Spa as part of wedding group of about 36 people. This hotel became the firm favorite after reading reviews and being close to the wedding venue, Ktima Alassos. The hotel did not disappoint. All the staff could not be more welcoming and friendly. I didn’t get everyone name but Margarita and Andreas at reception and in the dinning areas were fantastic and could not do enough for our family. The food was great with loads of choices from the buffet area to the 4 themed restaurants. If I had a half a criticism, the beaches on that side of the island are not great. Rock shoes are a definite requirement as it is a very rocky entrance into the sea. If the beach is your thing and you like spending time on the beach, this hotel is not for you. However if the beach is not your thing and you are happy to chill near the pool or grassed area overlooking the sea, this hotel will be just up your street.
We have just returned from a 2 week all inclusive holiday at St George’s hotel and found this is an amazing hotel in every aspect. The first thing is the lounger allocation is a brilliant idea, takes any stress out of trying to get sunbeds and the staff are so patient. Food is plentiful, 4 themed restaurants are really great, the Italian was really nice, food amazing. The gym is great to keep a gym goer ticking over, the re is CV machines and a few weight machines as well as dumbbells to 20kg. The rooms are spotless, fresh looking and beds massive and comfortable. The only thing was we couldn’t get the TV to show the channels so watched YT and Netflix. Al the staff are so friendly, helpful and quite laid back, special mention to Wojchiech and Veronika on entertainment duties who work hard. We loved the place, thank you St George Hotel and Spa, you’ve nailed it. ❤️
2nd year back here and STILL the best hotel we have stayed in. Everybody is so friendly and there is nothing to moan about. Food is fantastic and the extra restaurants are superb and inclusive of the holiday. Still here and looking forward to the next 9 days as well as seeing Elvis. This year hired a car through hotel and delivered to the door. A superb no the best hotel ever with game changing sunned allocation. Cannot wait and will definatly return and looking to do the whole of August. Thank you everybody that works here for making a superb relaxing holiday with memories.
Just home from St George's Hotel. It is a truly lovely, immaculate hotel with every guest need catered for.
Staff :- The majority of hotel staff are so friendly and polite- a particular mention to the lovely ladies at the wine bar who always remembered our orders and made sure our glasses were never empty. Also the Restaurant Manager who was just so friendly and professional. Also, Panagiotis who welcomed us off the coach & efficiently took our cases and showed us to our rooms, he always had time to stop and chat and check we were happy, he was a true asset to the hotel. Though some of the reception ladies could have been a bit more welcoming.
Food:- We stayed 10 nights & used all 4 themed restaurants. It was great having such variety, the food delicious in each, our favourite prob the Italian. Lunchtime was great too, with the informal choice of dining outside or the inside restaurant with the fab air conditioning & a fantastic choice of food.
Entertainment:- We only saw a couple of shows 'The Steve Welsh' and 'Elvis,' both were fine. We also visited the Tiki bar once which was a change though majority of time just happy to chill at the wine bar.
Location:- We knew the hotel wasnt located in central Paphos, there's little in the immediate area. We took a taxi to the harbour a couple of times at €18 each way. There was several boat trips we booked the 'Blue lagoon half day trip ' which we really enjoyed.
Pools:- Both great pools. We personally preferred our time at the quieter smaller pool. In the afternoon the pools could get quite warm so it was amazing to have the option of cooling off in the cold inside pool . We were also very impressed by the sunbed allocation and wished all hotels would operate this way.
We spoke to several guests who regular return to this hotel. It's easy to understand why multiple guests go back year on year.
Personally, if we do return it won't be for some while as we like to try different locations. However we would very happily recommend this hotel for a great holiday.
