Wyndham Garden Hoi An Cua Dai

the location is very convenient for us to go to the beach or even visit the Hoi An memories land.

We love the atmosphere and our rooms were incredible for a family with baby.

The only reason I’m giving this hotel 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the staff. Everyone was very polite and genuinely tried to help, especially the receptionist Lily, who was exceptionally kind, professional, and welcoming.

Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

Cons:

• The hotel is very old and definitely not worth the price.
• Rooms are outdated, worn out, and not as clean as expected.
• The soundproofing is terrible — you can hear everything happening in neighboring rooms.
• Breakfast is very repetitive with very limited choices.
• The gym is tiny and smells strongly of mold. Air fresheners are used later, but they only mask the smell.
• The swimming pool is quite small.
• There is ongoing construction directly in front of the hotel and also on the nearby beach, which ruins the atmosphere.
• Only a couple of staff members speak English; communication with the rest of the team is quite difficult.
• The elevators are old, slow, and clearly need modernization.
• We even found a lizard in our room, which was quite unpleasant.

Overall, this hotel does not live up to its price or rating. I’m honestly shocked that this hotel has such a high rating on Booking.com. There are much better options in the area for the same money. :::

Very nice hotel next to the beach, rooms are also spacious. A lot to choose from the breakfast. Staff is very friendly always willing to assist and helping out. Location not very far from the Old Town.
