"Located on the banks of Thu Bon River in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hoi An, Hotel Royal Hoi An MGallery is a perfect blend of historical charm and modernity. Its refined style inspired by Art Nouveau has a delicate touch of Japanese, Vietnamese cultures and offers spectacular views of the river and ancient town. Enjoy stunning, panoramic views of Hoi An and Thu Bon river from the city's highest rooftop bar. This Hotel is the perfect destination for events, a family vacation or a romantic getaway.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This was my 6th visit to this beautiful hotel. Can't recommend it enough. The rooms are large and very comfortable, the breakfast is vast and delicious and the staff are very attentive and caring. There are 2 pools that are both very beautiful and relaxing. The hotel is very peaceful of a day as lots of people take day trips. It's my favourite hotel in Asia and I look forward to staying again - hopefully soon. It used to be an M Gallery hotel and whilst there are some differences, the experiences are still well worth a visit!
Note - the hotel is old town Hoi An, not Danag
Very pleasant staff.,helpful.
This is probably a decent 5-star hotel option if you're looking for a balance between quality and cost. The check-in process was pretty smooth, though the porter failed to note which luggage was mine after taking it from me, so I had to go back to the lobby to collect it. The deluxe king room, while not the most spacious, was comfy; they managed to squeeze in extras like a couch and a (creaky) bathtub. For some weird reason, items like body lotion & shaving kit were available only upon request. The hotel had 2 pools, a larger pool on the ground floor near the lobby, and a smaller sub-optimally designed rooftop pool with river views and a bar with 1-for-1 drinks during happy hour (6 - 7 pm). The rooftop bar's service was lacklustre - the waiter served us our food without any utensils and sharing plate, but kudos to the manager for service recovery. The breakfast selection was decent, but the protein options were pretty limited. The front desk staff was kind enough to offer extension of checkout from 12 pm to 1 pm upon request. Note that the hotel offers free shuttle service to/from Da Nang airport, but this has to be booked at least 1 day in advance.
beautiful hotel in a great location
We arrived at the hotel without any prior planning and didn't regret it for a moment. The hotel was clean and offered a pampering experience, and we received professional, courteous service throughout our stay. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.
