Hoi An Beach Resort is a serene retreat nestled on Vietnam’s central coast, where the gentle waters of the De Vong River meet the soft sands of Cua Dai Beach. Just a short drive from the UNESCO‑listed Hoi An Ancient Town and about 35 km from Đà Nẵng International Airport, the resort offers an ideal base for both cultural exploration and relaxing seaside holidays.
The resort boasts a wide range of facilities designed for every kind of traveller. Guests can unwind by one of the outdoor pools, enjoy treatments at the tranquil spa, or keep active in the fitness centre. Families will appreciate the children’s playground, while those looking for adventure can rent bicycles or take part in beach activities. The dining venues offer both local Vietnamese dishes and international cuisine, with options to dine overlooking the river or right on the beach.
Rooms are designed to combine comfort with traditional Vietnamese charm. Standard rooms, such as Superior or Deluxe Garden View, feature modern amenities and private balconies overlooking the gardens. Guests seeking extra space or scenic vistas can upgrade to River View or Grand Deluxe rooms.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments and facials. After dipping into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools, you can spend some time at the private beach. This resort also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge). Guests can catch a ride on the complimentary shuttle, which operates within 05 km.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Great location. Average hotel and definitely not a 5 star hotel. The beach opposite was closed due to renovations onto the beach. Which was disappointing as we are beachy people and booked the hotel purposely for this reason. There was a shuttle bus daily to a local beach called hidden beach, however it was not accessible to all, and was small and dirty. The pool area was ok, no waiter service for drinks etc. staff were miserable. A 5 star resort would expect some waiter service round the pool area surely! Rooms were huge. Plenty of space. Bathrooms were tired. Breakfast was really good and plenty of choice for all eaters.. happy hour at the bar buy 2 beers get 1 free. We got six beers and only 1 free extra? Shuttle bus service to Hoi An town was offered.. you need to book which we did. However, we were unable to get on due to the amount of other people who got on the bus.. what’s the point of a booking system if you don’t use it properly. The hotel paid for a taxi for 4 of us, however, we waited an hour for the taxi!. Hoi An town definitely worth a trip too.. the riverside is madness.. we walked off the main drag and found a lovely couple of bars and restaurants.. Madame Laus was definitely worth a trip too for food.. popped into An Bang one evening, plenty of bars and restaurants there too..
my only other gripe is they give you free water in rooms, filled up glass bottles, this water was warm and not nice to drink.. they charge you for extra bottled from the fridge.. not really 5* experience at all..
we were offered a free 30 minute spa treatment on our last day which was nice. Not sure if this is something that they do to all customers but was a nice touch anyway.
We did a really good day trip from here but through get your guide. Bana Hills, Marble Mountain and Lady Buddha definitely worth the experience if staying here..
Very nice resort at about 5km from Hoi An Ancient Town, easily reachable via hotel shuttle or grab app. The hotel is placed in a quiet area in the countryside, along the river and facing the beach. It is quite new with 2 swimming pools, fitness center and a spa. Nice big rooms, we had a triple on the river. The nearest beach is crossing the road but it was closed for some works, so the hotel offers shuttle service for Hoi An Hidden Beach that is 1,8km from the Hotel, reachable by a free shuttle or by bicycle you can get for free at the hotel reception.
A beautiful stay with 2 pools! Lovely rooms and staff. The beach is under construction due to erosion but I’m sure it will be better in a year or so. Very accomodating staff especially Diem, Thuy, Thao.
This was our second time at Hoi An Beach Resort. We really love this resort. Quiet, relaxing, lovely staff, comfortable bed, good shower. Close to loads of other restaurants and mini marts. The beach across the road is being rebuilt from the storms last year. But they have a free shuttle to Hidden Beach. The hotel has free sun lounges at this beach. And there is a resturant here as well. It was a really nice beach for swimming. They also have a free shuttle into Old Town several times a day. Although its very cheap yo catch a grab or green car. They have two pools at the resort with pool bar. The only negative is other guests saving sun lounges all day! There were several groups putting towels down early in the morning. Then they would go off for an hour or more leaving items so it looked like they were still there. It was very obvious what they were doing. Then others guests couldn't get a sun lounge. My suggestion to the management is to instruct the pool boy to remove towels and items from these lounges. It was very rude of the guests to do so. Other than that, we loved our time here and will be back.
We spent 13 days at Hoi An Beach Resort, and it is without a doubt the best holiday we have ever had. We were 4 people at ages 28-60. From the first day to the last we were met with warm and attentive service. A big plus was Dương Hoà. We developed a really good connection with her, and together with the rest of the staff she made sure everything ran smoothly throughout our stay. No matter what we needed, they sorted it out quickly and with a smile. They were consistently pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and there was a good selection for both lunch and dinner. Breakfast and dinner were served in a calm and quiet area by the river, with pleasant acoustics. The pool also has lunch and drinks served throughout the day. Prices for food, drinks and laundry were very reasonable. The rooms were clean and well kept, and they washed our clothes several times without any issues. We borrowed bikes free of charge and cycled a total of 12 km during the holiday to rice fields, nice little cafés and beautiful viewpoints. It is a short ride to the old town by taxi – about 100,000 dong with Grab. People say you leave Vietnam with a tear in the corner of your eye – and that is no exaggeration. We felt it ourselves. We highly recommend Hoi An Beach Resort – a place we would gladly return to.
