This was my second stay at the Hadana Resort in Hoi An, and once again it was absolutely outstanding. From check-in to check-out, the experience was exceptional.
What impressed me most was that several staff members greeted me by name on arrival, remembering me from a previous visit a few years ago when I travelled with my family. That personal recognition set the tone for another wonderful stay.
The check-in process was seamless, and my room was spacious, immaculately clean, comfortable and beautifully presented.
One of my favourite features of the Hadana is the swimming pool. It is surrounded by trees and buildings, providing plenty of shade throughout the day. Unlike many pools in Vietnam that can become quite warm during the hotter months, the Hadana pool always remains refreshingly cool, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring Hoi An.
A special mention must go to Chau and his team in the bar. Their customer service is second to none. Nothing is ever too much trouble. We wanted to watch AFL football one Thursday evening, and Chau organised everything for us. He found the game, set it up on the television, arranged comfortable seating, and made sure we were looked after all evening. If you need anything in food and beverage, don’t hesitate to speak with Chau. He is a tremendous asset to the resort and has looked after us superbly on both of our visits.
Breakfast each morning was first class, offering an extensive buffet with both Asian and Western options. A special shout-out to Long, one of the chefs, who greeted me every morning with a huge smile and his familiar words, “Hello, my friend!” His English vocabulary may be limited, but his warmth and hospitality speak volumes. Whether preparing fresh Vietnamese pho, eggs to order or any other breakfast request, he always did so with genuine enthusiasm.
The restaurant staff are equally impressive. They regularly come to your table to check how you’re going, offer advice on tours and local attractions, and ensure you have everything you need. We also enjoyed dinner at the resort on several occasions, where the food was excellent, with a great selection of Vietnamese and Asian dishes, along with pizzas, pastas, steaks and burgers for those wanting more familiar cuisine.
The laundry service was outstanding. I dropped my clothes off at around 2:00 pm, and by 5:30 pm they were back in my room, freshly laundered, neatly folded and ready to pack for my flight the following day.
The reception team deserve enormous praise, particularly Sen, who went above and beyond during my stay. I was working on several business projects while travelling, and whenever I emailed documents through, Sen would print them promptly and have them delivered to my room. It’s these thoughtful little touches that elevate the Hadana above so many other resorts.
I also appreciated seeing Ms Lillian the General Manager, regularly walking around the resort each day, chatting with guests and ensuring everyone was enjoying their stay. She did this every day during this visit, just as she had on my previous stay. It reflects a culture where management genuinely cares about the guest experience.
If you’re looking for five-star service at a three-star price, do yourself a favour and stay at the Hadana Resort. The facilities are excellent, but the real strength of this resort is its people. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality make every guest feel special.
Thank you to Ms Lillian, Chau, Long, Sen and every member of the Hadana team for another wonderful stay. We will most certainly be back.
We stayed here for 6 days and had a great time. Staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs, always going the extra mile to assist. The breakfast was great, loved the fresh fruits. Room was clean and beds were comfy.
Loved our stay here! Rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean, breakfast was fresh and tasty and the location was excellent - close to cycle around the rice fields and also to walk into the town. We will return again next year!
Absolutely loved it. Great location, great service and the rooms were stunning. Breakfast was a great start too. Highly recommend and would stay again. Big thanks Hadana!
We had experienced over and above customer service at Hadan Boutique resort. Highly recommended. Our stay was beautiful and very friendly staff.
