Hotel is in a great location and is small enough to feel personal. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.
I will start with the positives: the hotel is kept very clean, and the location is quite good. Unfortunately, that is where the positive experience ends.
Our stay was deeply frustrating due to false promises and completely unacceptable customer service. More than anything, there was absolutely no sense of care or willingness to assist us. We never felt welcome, and it felt like no one was even trying to accommodate us.
We specifically confirmed beforehand that the hotel could accommodate a gluten-free diet. This turned out to be completely false—there was absolutely nothing for a gluten-free guest to eat at breakfast other than plain fruit. Because of this misrepresentation, we were forced to spend 500,000 VND out of pocket every single day just to eat breakfast outside the hotel.
We brought this issue to management and gave them a fair opportunity to make things right. Instead of addressing it professionally, they strung us along for days. We had to constantly chase after them, sending endless messages on WhatsApp, on Messenger, and confronting them in person just to get a basic response! Today, they made us wait over 6 hours for an answer regarding potential compensation, only to finally inform us at 8:00 PM that there was nothing they could do.
To add insult to injury, their idea of 'fixing' the situation was offering us a 'discounted' room rate that was actually higher than the standard price currently listed online for the exact same room.
Dragging out your guests' time endlessly just to insult them with a fake discount is a disgrace. A complete failure of basic hospitality. Shameful.
Where do I start! Fantastic location, a few minutes walk to the beach and every type of amenities literally on your doorstep. If you are looking for a relaxed, chilled feel to a hotel then Stella Maris Beach Hotel is the one, geared towards families and couples. The layout of my room wasn’t to my preference but that aside beds were comfortable. Stella Maris Beach Hotel exceeded my expectations for what I paid, 100% value for money and I would happily stay there again.
Housekeeping was great and accommodated me with a steam iron when needed. Towels for rooftop pool always readily available. Overall this hotel took pride in its cleanliness and it showed throughout.
Due, to the clientele that I observed being here, noise levels was not a concern within the hotel from other people. My room was on the 10th floor, front facing and I could hear the street vendors on loop at night but it didn’t spoil my stay.
The staff here are friendly, courteous and polite but I need to give a very special shout out to Daisy, she was beyond helpful and supportive to myself and my daughter. Showing nothing but warmth, she has such a genteel mannerism about her whilst dealing with everything and everyone.

I can’t fault the cleanliness , location, rooms and breakfast. I stayed 10 days at this wonderful hotel and I would fully recommend for anyone looking for a good reasonable priced hotel staying near the beach in Da Nang. The staff are really next level and can’t do enough for you. Management should be proud on how their staff all conduct themselves to make sure everyone is looked after. Well done will be back soon.
